hotel only 25 mins away frm airport wich is great if you hav kids. Arrived after a delay yet again frm thomas cook airline. Check'in quick, were requsted block A but beware, it was full of spanish people the english/scottish wer in block B. Food let it down, nothin at all for my son or us we lived on fruit and bread. If the food changed we would go bk. There wer 3 pools and one adult pool, could b very busy at times and noisey.

Access with heavy cases was short and simple,as was check-in, the rooms were all ready and everyone on the coach was dealt with quickly and politely. Our room was small with a twin and a bunkbed but no seperate sitting area. The room (and indeed the entire hotel complex)is spotlessly clean although there are many ants outside,we didn't see any inside the hotel, the pools are also well maintained and very clean. We found the food to be perfectly adequate if not exactly inspiring and our only critisism of the hotel is that my wife had a drink of lemonade taken off her by an exceptionaly rude member of staff who decided(on our 5th night)that half board guests were not entitled to fizzy drinks. The beach was glorious but 15 euros for 2 sunbeds and parasol was the most we have ever paid. The resort is extremely quiet.
- Advice: Superb beach, great hotel but the surrounding area is very, very quiet.

Before you book request block A. This is a large complex, we arrived mid mornin checked in and went to our room, it was clean but yet again ants has moved in aswell but this is common abroad. If you like to be woken up early by other guests slamming doors and making noise then can recommend highly. The hotel food was good and a good variety of choice, plenty to do and see the reps were excellent and very helpful, do be careful of all inclusive drinks are served 11am till 11pm and they are strict about this, also includes soft drinks aswell.Good place for family but not older children, saw and heard too many crying babies and small tots due to the heat. Would recommend the horse show and going to Mahon on the bus to the market. Enjoyed my hols but would not return here.

Went with husband and two year old, very sceptical from reading other reviews but all was very good. Rooms clean but small. Entertainment for kids and adults 6 days a week, 2 year old loved mini disco. Lots of pools included 2 splash pools for kids and one adult only jacuzzi. Train comes each day outside hotel for hour long drive with drop off & pick up if wanted (6 euro's) Bus stop outside and easy enough to get to capital. Booked half board but upgraded to all inclusive for last 5 days and well worth it as came back with lots of change!! Fantastic location for scenery, steep slope to beach but very close by. I would say that this hol is well suited for relaxing & enjoying scenery or families with young children (up to 7 or so).

I've Been Back From Menorca For a month now and its been the longest month ever, because i've missed the hotel so much.
The entertainment was brilliant for a holiday abroad. 10/10
The food was ok but was boring. 6/10
The hotel & rooms were very clean. 10/10
The bar staff were arrogant becuase we were all inclusive and would only let us have one drink at at time and we've already paid for them.
if you enjoy drinking dont stay in the hotel after 11pm becuase after 2 nights they threatened to kick us out the hotel and we wasnt even being loud, if you want to drink i would advise you to go down to the wiakiki bar and around 12:30/01:00 am go down to the irish pub for a brilliant night out.
Great Holiday But Bar Staff Ruined It.
The Mini Disco is Brilliant For The Kids Espcially Steven Mcardle The entertainer he is a legend in menorca :) he made our holiday.
Overall rating 9/10

We had a fantastic time on our first all inclusive family holiday. Grandparents, parents and two children 9 and 10 were all acommodated for. The Thomas Cook reps were fantastic always visable throughout the holiday and ready to give valuble advice but not in your face trying to sell things. The staff at the hotel were very hardworking but again were always available to help but never in your way. We had a fantastic time in and around the pools and the children enjoyed some club activities. They were well looked after and enjoyed receiving their certificates during the night. A special mention to club rep "Becky" she was fantastic with our children and went above and beyond her job to ensure they were happy and enjoyed every day. She worked so hard and we couldn't believe the time she gave to the children even in the restaurant when she was having a break. We had a fantastic "Take That" night with singing and dancing for everyone! The food was varied and always cooked and presented to a high standard. The bar staff were freindly and you never had to wait for more that a few minutes to be served. The beach was closer than all the reviews and brochure tell you with several ways to get there. The water was crystal clear and we enjoyed snorkling off the beach with the kids using the slides on the pedelos. We bought a parasol from the shop for 10euros which we brought back so didn't use the beach ones which were 15euros a day. We wish we had booked two weeks but will definately be returning!

The beach is the best beach i have ever been on. It is a wee bit expencive for drinks in the hotel but you can go to the irish bar which is very well priced indeed. Love it love it LOVE IT!

After reading some of the non favourable reviews, we found there was nothing to worry about! The hotel is very clean, there are always maids there cleaning, the staff were very friendly and polite. We had a satisfactory room for three (2 adults and one 6 year old), although the child's bed could have been more substantial. We had a superb view over the beach and bay (although we did request this when booking the holiday and paid the highest price available when booking). We would have been disappointed if the room had faced the carpark/supermarket as some did. The food was plentiful and there was something to suit each of us every time, even if we were a bit bored of it by the end of the week. Beware of the warm milk for the cereal! We did find that it was expensive and would be a real strain if we weren't half board. At one bar we spent 10 euros for 3 cokes! A word of warning - don't take the train trip available outside the hotel to Macaret. An absolute waste of money (18 euros for the 3 of us) as there is absolutely nothing there at all. Also, Thomas Cook provides a trip to Mahon market and a ride on a glass bottomed boat but this can be done about 100 euros cheaper if you go on the service bus outside the hotel then just get the boat yourself when you get there, and aren't bothered about going to the gin distillery which Thomas Cooks include in their trip. But overall, a very good hotel for families - very safe, clean and although quiet, ideal if you have children.

when myself and my husband arrived at this hotel in the early hours of the morning, we just wanted to get to our room to sleep after a long journey. we were given room 106 on floor level -1. as we were going along the corridor to our room the smell of sewage was really strong and was even worse in our room, i found it difficult to sleep with the stench.
the next morning we met the very nice english couple in the room next to us who were having to deal with the same problem. we think it may have had something to with the drain right outside our patio doors and the cleaners cupboard that was between us. we went to the reps meeting and told them, the other couple who were only staying a week were moved that night and we were moved to level 7 the following day. happy days as i was at last able to unpack my case. that was my only complaint as both my husband and i loved this place and would definitly go back again. the drinks were a bit expensive in the hotel but we used to go to the irish bar or the backgammon bar in noves coves for a few before heading back to the hotel for the excellent entertainment. food was great, maid service was great, reception staff very friendly and helpful especially when our flights were changed due to collapse of xl and we ended up on a plane to gatwick instead of liverpool, what a nightmare !!!!! (but thats another story) would love to go back to this hotel and would recommend it to anyone just dont accept a room on level -1

what can i say about this place....its fantastic!! we have just returned from our 2nd time here and have already booked for next year!
we were in block a, there was enough space and it did us for what we needed, but apparently all the rooms have been refurbished.
our rooms were tidied every morning and if you put the hanger on the door they were usually done by the time youd got back from breakfast.
i agree that the food is usually repeated and we did have chips and pasta on offer every night, but for a fussy 3yr old pasta did us just fine.
the drinks in the bar are quite expensive, especially 2 euros for a can of pepsi when you can buy them in the local shop for 50 cents, but all the staff are friendly.
there is bar backgammon just a short walk to coves noves which does cheaper drinks and it also has an inflatable for the kids and trampolines which costs between 3 and 6 euros (i cant remember to be honest)
the animacion team are superb, i cannot tell you enough how much fun they added to our holiday, we joined in nearly all of the games and our little girl did as well when it got to the end of the season and wasnt so busy. they put everything into the shows that they did on a night, they were great : )
the team also do a mini disco for the kids, its great fun, everyone including the adults join in
the weather wasnt great but we still managed to catch some sun and come back with a abit of colour.
the beach was lovely and the fish swam right up near the sand, we met some lovely people there and cant wait to go back next year.

have just arrived back from aguamarina hotel and am glad to be home. the bar staff were very rude (most of them) we was all inclusive but wish we wasnt as the food was BORING, inside the hotel was clean but outside round the pool areas was filthy did not see anyone clean this area the whole stay we were there (we went for two weeks) the bins were over flowing all the time and to top it off one of the main pools was GREEN and closed for two days but reopened and was still GREEN! the kids loved the mini disco but was the same old songs in the same order every single night, the adlut entertainment was boring appart from "fake that" and "thriller"! would not reccomend to anyone!
