Bahia San Antonio Apartments

I stayed here with 9 other girls and we will definatley go back next year. Hotel was clean and tidy, although we didn't see a maid whilst we were there - but it was only for 3 nights. You could be a bit noisy if you wanted and nobody cared! If you do take anyone back to your room watch out for the receptionist with the eyepatch, he will come to your room and ask for 10euros per person there. Just a 10min walk down the prominade to the west end, perfectly located. I wouldnt stay here if you were with children but perfect for people who want to party!

We have recently stayed at the Bahia apartments and couldn't complain about anything. The staff were friendly and rooms were clean on arrival. Rooms had new air conditioning fitted - one system in the dining area and one in the bedroom, with a remote that worked the both. New TVs in rooms, a microwave, fridge, sink area, cupboards etc etc. Cleaners came in every other day, and if you are in the room when they call, they just leave you fresh towels etc and do not disturb you. If you do need towels, you can go to the reception/bar area where a member of staff will help you. You don't have a key here, you have a card which is great, you just slot it in and it works the electric! However, be sure you take it with you when you leave your room! We left it in there one night and din't realise until about half 12 at night! Luckily they have a security man on who contacted the owner and he came and let us in - He was really nice and just said "Don't worry, it happens all the time" **** Just be aware if you are booking these apartments that there are two "Bahias" in San Antonio!! One is located right by the hotel Hawaii very near to San Antonio and the Westend, by Linikers bar, burger king and KFC - And the other is located right up the far end of the bay (which is this one). As we looked at the Bahia apartments on another site, before booking through Alpharooms, we were under the impression we were booking the ones which were nearer the westend and didn't realise there were two! However, we are pleased we did now as we would never have seen this part of the bay. There are plenty of bars and restaurants up this end of the bay and the Millenium Bar which is just next door is spot on!! Go and visit Peppe the owner, he really makes you feel welcome along with his staff, it really made our holiday. You can actually walk into San Antonio which we did a couple of times, it takes about 50 minutes and is mostly a straight road the whole way, then you follow the beach round on the walkway provided. We were also right by the BN3 Bar, which is a pre-part bar. This is where you can go if you are going to any of the clubs, you can either buy your tickets here or in the club when you get there, and they provide a free bus service. The kind owner will also get you a taxi if you visit his bar - he has 9 working for him. But if they are all busy, he will pull one off the street for you while you enjoy your drink and wait.

Bahia Apartments were amazing, dj's by the pool every day, 24 hour snack bar, supermarket, pubs, clubs and restaurants right next to the apartments, reps at the apartments every day letting you know whats happening every night, and well advertised events in the lobby so you dont miss a great night. also the apartments were right next to the beach and the rooms look onto the bay. this is the perfect holiday for young people looking to go clubbing and party round the clock. not advisable for couples looking for a quiet holiday as the corridors at night are noisy and not much sleep happens at night as everyone is up partying!! brilliant holiday ever!!

This Hotel was perfect.. i'm not sure if some other reviewers stayed in the same place because there is another hotel of practically the same name nearby. I wouldn't recommend for familys as from june onwards it's packed full of younger clubbers.
The rooms are spotless as is the rest of the hotel. There is a glass lift in the reception and they play loud music round the pool all day. Great Location for san antonio its self. The only thing i would say though is that the hotel is very strict on late night noise and messing about. They take a no nonsense approach and expect you to be very quiet from about 9 onwards and a few final wranings were dished out.. so if it's a chavvy 18-30s hotle you're after this isn't it.

Me and my partner went to Ibiza in May, we are both 20, it was my first holiday abroad and it was fab.
Hotel was spotless; staff were friendly, there is a lift!
Food was not great but there are great bars/cafes in a small walking distance which are really good value.
Staff english not very good, but they were as helpful as they could be and always smiling.
My only complaint was the the pool, very cold but nice if you need a quick dip to cool down.
I would recommend this hotel to anyone any age -there was families and couples there.
I had a fantastic time and would go again.

We have just arrived back from a two week holiday if you could call it that at the Bahia apartments in San Antonia. It was the worst holiday ever there is no lift and we had to drag pushchair and suit cases up 4 flights of stairs the view from the balcony was a building site with two big cranes swinging around.
The pools were ok but led on to main road which is not suitable for little ones as there was no gate so you couldn’t relax and enjoy the sun. The pool bar closed at 7pm every night. Other guests were extremely noisy at all hours of the day and night throwing rubbish from their balconies down.
There was a constant fan going from a bar next door. No air-conditioning as advertised fan hire for 12 euro per week. The apartments were self catering and the cooking rings two and a sink and fridge were enclosed in cupboards which when cooking had to be left open and my little one kept bumping into. Utensils were lacking hence very minimum.
The apartments were centrally located but not for families or older guests definitely not suitable only suitable in my opinion for students.
