Got back from Ibiza yesterday and it was the time of my life. deffinatly have the holiday blues!.
Never normally do these things but had such a quality time i felt i had to. We stayed in this hotel and it was quality. rooms are basic but very clean, maids cleaned everyday and if like us you've had a heavy night before you can just get the towels changed and send the cleaners on their way. Bathroom very tidy and rooms are everything you need if your going for the party time. pool is lovely, also very clean. staff are friendly. I'd say this hotel is more for the younger generations and a top way to meet new people. didnt really eat at the hotel as we ventured down into San Antonio however on our last day we did take advantage of the free breakfast and it was quite alright.
the reviews that say its to far away from the action are tosh. we walked down into San Antonio everyday and it takes fifteen minutes max. plenty of bars to stop at on the way down.
Already looking at booking for next year as we had an amazing time.
anyone whos looking for the party holiday Amnesia is must. hope this helps :)

just got back from my hols in ibiza, stayed in the sanfora.
when i arrived i was pleased with the cleanliness of the reception and bar area.
the drinks are quite dear from the bar your looking at about 4.50 euro for a pint of san miguel, the bar tender hardly spoke a word of english and it shut around 10pm.
everyone else in the hotel seemed to be around the 18/23 age group, we never went to the pool as it was just full of idiots acting stupid.
the rooms were very basic with 1 plug socket in the room and 1 in the bathroom, they charge you 20 euros to use the safe which never worked, the balcony is tiny, every night we were awoken by noisy idiots coming in shouting profanities down the corridor at around 4am.
the maids were very good and changed our towels daily.
the hotel is a bit out of the way, 15 mins walk to the nearest beach and a good half hour to the west end, but only 7 euros in a taxi.
im only 30 and went on a proper 18/30's 7 years ago in ibiza so im not some old fuddy duddy.
if your taking your partner and want quiet relaxing accomadation don't stay here.

Just back from a week at the S'anfora went for a week with my boyfriend we are both 21. Overall impressed with this hotel being that it is 2 star. The rooms are better than just basic with nice curtains, comfortable bed and pattered designed tiles in the bathroom - the showers quite powerful too. No fridge or TV tho, but who goes to ibiza to stay in their room and watch spanish telly?
The staff arent as friendly as some of the other places I've stayed but nobody was particularly rude - you get a decent range of food from the bar, which does take ages to arrive but when it does its brill. Fresh salads, mozzarela sticks etc were available along with freshly baked pizzas. Not your usual standard pool bar with greasy chips, hot dog or...greasy chips.
This hotel also isnt really in the bay at all - its on the road leading to san antonio which we could walk to, but we had to get a taxi at usually 8 euro to our friends apartment which was actually in the Bay. I liked the fact that at the sanfora there was no kids at the pool which would indicate its a 18-30 style place but in actual fact it wasnt rowdy in that sense either. The pool was mainly full of respectable young adults just chilling minding there own business, music was sometimes played thruout the day. Our room was cleaned everyday we were there and given fresh towels everyday also.
I think if I went back to ibiza I'd stay in Ibiza town as opposed to san antonio which is quite tacky and touristy. Not much nice places out to eat we didnt find a nice quiet restraunt the whole time we were there. We once went to this place and found ourselves waiting nearly an hour for chicken dippers and for me a salad, so we just got up and left, totally not impressed. The place wasnt even busy!
So be rest assured the S anfora is a good place to stay and you shouldnt have any problems, its clean and of a decent standard - it also smells nice in the foyer!

This was a nice hotel, the only down side was that the staff were not nice at all. I lost my towel which flew over the balcony and when I went to ask if they had it the reception staff were so rude. My friends also had problems with there air conditioning, this took them 3 rooms and 3 days later to solve this problem, only because we had got a rep involved. The food at the hotel was very basic and normally cold, everytime i ordered beans on toast it was cold. There was a few restrauants near by but they weren't good either. The west end was a 30min walk away so if you don't like walkling all the time or paying for taxis then you should look else where.
If you want a cheap place to stay though I would recomend staying here, but if you can afford it go to the Ibiza rocks hotel, Ive been to Ibiza 4 times and this is the best place to stay.

This hotel was great. A fantastic position for both san antonio and the bay.
The only downside was the breakfast which was very continental but to be honest we didn't make it on a few occasions !!
Other than that the room was fine but we did get a bit of a disturbance on a few nights when people came back in the early hours and started banging on peoples doors but hey ho - its Ibiza!
The hotel behind is an 18-30s and music does go on into the night but if your young (or young at heart!) this hotel is fine.
The bar and reception staff were excellent and very friendly!

Hotel Sanfora is clean, friendly and for most of the time pretty peaceful, the only noise you hear is from the hotel just behind!
They play some ok dance music around the pool, the staff are all lovely, and there is a good choice of food on the menu, all reasonably priced and excellently cooked.
The breakfast was slightly lacking, a choice between ham, bread and cheese or fruit and cereal, but still not bad on the whole.
It's only a 10-15min walk into San An, although buses do run pretty regularly.
The area around the Sanfora has a good selection of restaurants, the Chinese is great, and for some English food there's a little bar just opposite the hotel, there's shops and tobacconists but if you want some real nightlife then you need to go into San An.
The only bad thing I can say about the Sanfora is we asked to extend the stay to an extra night, so we didn't have to hang around with our suitcases before the flight home.
The receptionist happily took our 30 Euros payment at the desk but failed to tell us this was only for 3hrs, so we were woken up by a telephone call a few hours later telling us we had to remove our belongings and ourselves out of the room immediately!

My friend and i have just arrived home from our stay in the Sanfora hotel ibiza. overall the hotel is very clean and well maintined. the pool area is an ok size but as the busy season sets in you are lucky if you will get a sun lounger so best to get up early and get one as quick as possible. in the sanfora you can basically do what you like, it attracts younger crouds and at peak time it gets very roudy and loud so if its sleep your after then this is not the place to go. all staff are very friendly but a word of warning (maids)- the couple next door to us told us that 250 euros went missing from their room, they told the hotel about this and the hotel told them that their was nothing that they could do, so you are best to stash your money in a clever place. i only made breakfast once during the week, its a very simple breakfast ie fruit, bread, cereal, ham and cheese. overall the hotel was good, not really anything to complain about. although the hotel is roughly about 15 to 20 minuets walk away from the promenade and i also advise that no one walks alone as it can be dangerous. also cafe mambo for the sunset as it amazing. Ibiza is the place to be and i highly recommend Judgement Sundays at EDEN... best night on the planet!!
