Mayra Apartments

stayed at the mayra appts clean basic appts. went with my family.although everyone was very nice these appts are not suited for familys as there were a lot of stag and hen dos.this made it harder to get to the pool.although the lady and man always spoke to the kids and we found them to be very civil
places to eat in benidorm that we found best was a place called the craven arms it made a great british breakfast. also a place called maddogs. and for a good sunday roast the royal britania right next to the mayra.
places to visit are mundomar, aqualandia, terra mitica. all and all we had a great holiday and found everyone very nice. will go back and visit benidorm again.

Shocking is the only real word to describe this place. Blood on the floor, broken glass, Police every night, disgusting swimming Pool, it is horrible. But worst of all by a mile is the lunatic woman who runs the apartments. She is simply a really nasty person. I am sure she has issues with English people however the way she treats people is disgusting. We left the Mayra Apartments 2 days into a 5 day trip as the couldn't stand the place its self and the woman(she didnt give us her name) and went to stay at the Palm Beach Hotel, which was lovely.
Bendirom is a really fun place but please take note of this and avoid at all costs.

we stayed at the mayra appartments with friends,and the service was awfull!!!
the staff were totally unhelpfull,the pool was filthy,and we constantly getting aproached by prostitutes who hang around outside in the late evenings,this made us feel like prisoners not holiday makers.
you should avoid theese appartments like the plague!!

just returned from mayra apts.excellent value for money.6 guys on a stag weekend it was ideal accomodation.never had any trouble getting our deposit back even though we left at 2 am.cheap beer and the brittania pub next door was a good place to eat

There was 6 of us, 4 adults and 2 teenagers.
2 Bedrooms, 2 twins in each and 2 sofa beds.

The cafe downstairs was lovely, Very cheap about 1.50 euros for a chese toasty, all food is nicely cooked and we could of eaten every meal there, most staff speak good english and even if they dont they are extremely freindly.
The housekeepers are also really freindly and nice.
There are deposits on the room though incase you break anything, at the end of your stay they check it.
our apartment was clean, the beds were comfertable and we had a sea view!
However it wasnt too big, but it was cramped as there was 6 of us.. If there was 4 it would be ok.
I would stay there again if there were less people,
P.S - The pool isnt too big however you can use the one across the road, (hotel nero i think) because its a sister hotel.

Second time for the four of us at the Mayra, we liked it so much the last time we decided to book again. We travel as two couples all the time, so have no problem sharing accommodation. This apartment is excellent in that we have a bedroom each, with very spacious living room, kitchen, balcony. Fully equipped bathroom including a full sized bath and overhead shower. Excellent value for money, spacious, clean accommodation. You can see from the pictures on the website what it's like, and the photos are a true representation of what you get.
What makes the Mayra more attractive is the excellent value cafe called Costa Games 2 on the ground floor, good basic food and drink at NORMAL PRICES to quote their sign. The prices had not increased in the two years since our last stay, Beer still 1 Euro a pint, tea and coffee 0.70 Euro. Our favourite was 2 eggs on toast with tomato for breakfast, only 1.50 Euro. The cafe was constantly busy and in the evenings full of locals and tourists, you wouldn't believe the noise of people just talking.
Very close to the beach, bars, restaurants and many many shops. The indoor market just across the main street from the apartment block, selling just about everything you need. The only thing not so close at hand was British newspapers, had to search around a little to find these.
Just remember the Mayra is 2-star, the apartment is serviced once in 7 days, so you need to tidy up after yourselves a little, taking your rubbish out to the bins just outside the apartment daily is a small chore only, however, extra towels/linen can be bought for a couple of euros, should you want to.
Nothing for children to do here, so we found it is mainly couples and groups of adults using the Mayra. It's lovely just sitting outside the cafe talking to locals and other holidaymakers, many of which come from other hotels and apartments to eat/drink at Costa.
Definately deserves it's 10/10.

When I went to this hotel I thought it was very nice. I had a room all to myself while my mom and dad had a room next door. Even though we were put on the top floor we still had a great time and the food was great.
The beach was lovely and the sea was really really warm. There were also some nice pubs there like the black chicken that was a very friendly place where you could have laugh.
