We had a brilliant holiday and loved everything about it.Roll on next years. The staff are brilliant, the food is great, and we had a great room. Having been to Limmassol 11 times, we really enjoyed it and there was a real feeling of cameraderie. Thanks Kapitanios. Rita and Sean Cushen.

Very clean hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beautician was excellent and well worth a visit. The indoor swimming pool was not very warm. The breakfast was very good. The evening meal was buffet style, but we found the choices sometimes left a little to be desired. The hotel situation was good for walking into the old or new part of Limassol and plenty of bars and cafes around.

My sister and I had a very enjoyable holiday, our room was a good size and the hotel was kept spotlessly clean. the staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble for them. We made use of the gym facilities (but only used the indoor pool once as the water was too cold), the beauty therapist was excellent. The barman Nikos makes a brilliant brandy sweet. (Normally called brandy sour if made with tonic)

The Kapetanios Limassol Hotel offers good, clean, comfortable accommodation and excellent food.
Meals are buffet-style with a good selection of dishes and vegetarians are quite well catered for. The chef was happy to provide alternative options on request.
All of the staff were very pleasant, attentive and helpful. We could not fault the service.
A disabled-adapted room is available on the 1st floor with lift access; wheelchair access to reception is via a ramp at the side of the hotel.
The only downside was that the indoor heated swimming pool was not suitable for guests with walking difficulties as the sloping floor of the pool was slippery. The outdoor pool may have been suitable but the water was too cold in April.
The promenade, which stretches from near the hotel to the old town is flat, with a good footpath which is easy for wheelchair use; however, some of the pedestrian crossings have high kerbs or steep slopes, so getting around without an able-bodied helper would be very difficult.
The Old Town is not wheelchair friendly as there are high kerbs with very few ramps, steps into most shops, and narrow pavements which are often obstructed by cafe furniture or thoughtlessly parked vehicles.
Part of the area is pedestrianised and there is no problem getting around this part of the town.
The local people are very friendly and helpful and most people in shops, restaurants, etc., speak good English.
