AMAZING!!!!!!!!
Loved every minute!
What a fabulous hotel and great friendly staff, it was 1st class service from the moment we arrive to the moment we left. This was the perfect honeymoon resort (well done Mr MacDonald).
There was so much to see and do and after a wonderful but hectic wedding this was the perfect way to relax.
The spa facillities and treatments are out of this world!!!! Also very clean resort with well maitained gardens!
I could not fault a thing! I have started saving to go back next year! :)

Excellent, fabulous, wonderful.
We had an amazing time. The service was amazing. Food was out of this world.
This was our honeymoon - Thank goodness I don’t ever need to wear my wedding dress again - I gained 10lbs here but don’t regret one ounce of it.
If you want great pools to relax by, superb waiter service, excellent food, and beauty pampering everyday - this is the place to be.
Will definitely go back.

Wonderful hotel with fabulous staff. We had a fabulous time and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Unfortunately during our stay we were hit by a hurricane, but the staff remained calm and looked after us beautifully. Thank you all so much!
The food in all the restaurants was of an extremely high standard. The service in this hotel is exceptional - entertainment staff, poolside waiters, everyone! The rooms were comfortable with the added advantage of all spirits and room service included in the All Inclusive package.
In short this was the best holiday we have had and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to all.

What a fantastic holiday! The resort was of a very high class and always spotlessly clean. Every single member of staff would greet you with a smile as you walked around the huge resort with its stunning landscaped gardens. The AVP is an adults only resort (mostly couples and honeymooners), based about 1 hour's transfer from Cancun airport.
It suffered extensively during last year's hurricane but you wouldn't know it as all repairs have been completed and has given the feeling that it has had a complete refurbishment. The double spa bath in every room is a lovely touch and you find that you will use it - just to have the experience! There are 6 restaurants here and we managed to try them all and I couldn't fault any of them.
If you want to swim in the sea, don't come here as they have built a sea-wall (sea is pretty rough) and have created a lagoon where you can snorkel/kayak. I can recommend the AVP 100% and you will be hard pressed to find anything to complain about. Just enjoy!

This is an excellent hotel, it is a bit on the pricey side when booking but well worth it (and as it was our honeymoon we wanted something a bit special). The rooms are beautiful with double Jacuzzis and hammocks! The restaurants are plentiful and the food is excellent.
There is nothing bad I can say about this hotel only that your waistband is a little tighter!

Hello,
My wife I had been looking forward to a week's vacation at the Aventura with two other couples. All three are Palace Resorts "Premier" timeshare members. We booked the Aventura back in June. Upon landing in Cancun and a one hour drive to Aventura, we were told "Oh so sorry, but we are overbooked." WHAT???? Although they confirmed rooms for us, they tell us the day of our arrival we are overbooked. They sent us to Playacar Palace. "It BETTER than the Aventura", they assured us. Compared to the Aventura, Playacar was a significant step down; less restaurants, no spa facilities, children.
We were then moved to the Moon Palace. Yes, a step up from the Playacar, but not the Aventura. Upon so many lies and broken promises and two days of our week's vacation gone, we were offered 25 minute back massages and $200 towards golf.
OK, bottom line: We booked at the Aventura, they bumped us. They made no attempt to refund the trip or comp us a week at the Aventura. Avoid, the timeshare scams, you are not treated any differently. In fact, once they have your money there is less motivation to address your issues.
