Plaka Hotel

Wonderful small hotel right in the Plaka section of Athens. All the major sites are within walking distance. Good clean rooms. The hotel staff are extremely efficient and wonderfully helpful! They go out of they're way to help answer any questions you have. I would stay there again and would certainly recommend it to any traveler. The entire hotel staff speaks English and Greek and probably a couple of other languages also!

This hotel is excellently situated to walk to good traditional greek restaurants in the lively Plaka area, and the Acropolis. From our room, we had a view of the Acropolis. The hotel seemed to be expensive (at 145 € with tax) compared to the hotels we had stayed at on the Greek islands, but I can imagine that Athens is more expensive in general. Stiffly polite service.

Six of us, occupying three rooms, spent two nights at this hotel. Everyone agreed the location could not be beat. The rooms were clean, nicely furnished and comfortable. The staff was very polite and helpful. The roof top provides a nice view; however, the roof top bar was not open. The breakfast was average. We all felt it was a great value for the price and would stay there again.
