I have just recently visited Corfu with my young children, and was concerned about where to go, seeing advertisements for Kavos and Sidari. But.... I visited Benitses Village and stayed at the Potamaki Hotel.
It is an amazing place to visit, and the hotel is situated right on the beach. The children were never bored, and we were happy either lounging on the seafront - where there is many water sports, or at the back of the hotel in the pool admiring the amazing mountain views.
It takes just 15mins in the car to travel to Corfu Town where there is many shops, and bars. The Potamaki Hotel is a family run hotel, and you can notice this from when you first arrive!! The staff are so friendly, and the food and drinks offered are superb! It offers nightly entertainment...the Greek Night was our favourite!!
The hotel is extremely clean, and is a place you don’t need to leave...throughout your holiday, but there is always somewhere to go if exercise is a must!!!!

Just returned from a weeks holiday spent at the Potamaki hotel in Benitses. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel public areas and rooms were basic but very clean and comfortable.Air conditioning cost us 7 euros per day but worth every euro. The hotel is ideally situated in the centre of Benitses, just across the road from a shingle beach, a good idea is to buy a pair of the cheap beach shoes from the local shops costing about 4 euros, excellent places to eat are within easy walking distance. It is a place i look forward to visiting again soon.
