Fantastic hotel in a fantastic city! I ran out of time.
I would have loved to gone up in a WWII Junkers 52 and flown over Berlin going "Broadsword calling Dannyboy, Broadsword calling Dannyboy" (anyone who loves "Where Eagles Dare" knows exactly what I’m talking about! The Wall.
What an impact this had on life in the 60's Rumour has it that if all the fragments sold to tourists went back to reforming the wall it would run from Berlin to London without stopping! (I bought a bit for my son so he would know about the history of Berlin!)
