Dolunay Apartments

well i went to the dolunay for the first time in 2011 after going to turkey every year and staying at the orion but me and my family were impressed with the way everything worked at dolunay the apartments are clean and there is lots of space the people who work there are so friendly every time we saw them they would always say hello and seem so proud they work there the gardener is up early every morning making sure every where looks nicee,the swimming pool is great,dolunay is in the middle of dolphin square and the pubs in altinkum dolphin square is a five minuet walk down the road from dolunay the only bit of advice i would say is if you dont like loud noise dont stay there dolunay is opposite and open roof night club called medusa but me and all my family slept through the noise it wasnt that bad i really dont have anything bad to say about dolunay booked up to go straight back there this year with my boyfriend and my mum on the 28th of may if you like altinkum i would suggest this is the best place to stay my veiw from my balcony was brilliant could see the pool the bright blue sky and the wonderfull veiw of the beach.

me and my wife have been to the dolunay apartments for the last 6 years now and always go in september all the staff here are great and really friendly nothing is too much trouble for them at all try the cafe on the corner that josh works in the cakes are amazing yaya and hassan are really good with people and are always there to help in anyway they can food here is good and again anyyhing you need is not a problem to the two cooks the cleaners are friendly and make sure that you are happy with your room at all times zelish the manager does a great job and she again is always there to help if you have any problems the gardener can be seen pottering about and he is proud to say that its him that takes care of the grounds ,the veiw from the very big balconey is good, the pool is great and plenty of sunbeds are available but it is slippy round the pool but common sence prevails will be back next year make no mistake of that

the dolunay is opposite not one but three open air night clubs which play until 5am. the air conditioning is only in the main bedroom which meant the other bedroom and the bed in the living space were very very hot.the staff are all lovely and very helpful,pool great but the surface around the pool is very slippy and saw a lot of people almost fall.

loved doluney appartments,but i must say to all be aware of the swimming pool steps very slippery,we booked with first choice and i slipped on the steps hurt my back and my left arm,filled acccident report and linda the tour rep denied there was a safety issue with steps.my concerns went unheard. please be careful.

I have been to the Dolunay twice now, and am planning on going back this year for a third tim. The staff are fantastic and very helpful and alway up for a good laugh. The apartments and spacious, clean and a maid comes in virtually every day. At lunch times they serve a fantastic menu, washed down with a nice cold bear lol. The Dolunay also has its own restaurant in town which is good value for money and has very pleasant surroundings.
The beach is just a short walk down the path, but is very packed, but in my opinion the pool is beautiful, clean and free sunbeds,what else could you could ask for.

hiyaaa, this place is lovely, the staff are really nice helpful and caring, i cant wait for my mother and fathers wedding at dolunay apartments in 2010 all the family and friends are goin out 22 of us going too be great, it will be lovley and lovely to see everyone in dolunay and linkers

my husband my son and myself stayed at the dolunay for a week, and wow what a lovely place everybody is so friendly and my son lewis enjoyed playing pool as did my husband gary with hassan, and ya ya and josh bless him is lovely and his cakes are to die for,the maids keep the rooms lovely the dollunay is close to all the amenities,it cannot be faulted at all wot a superb place and the loveliest people....xxxxx

The complex is very well kept n the staff are very friendly. We stayed there for a week in May 09. The apartment we stayed in was a 2 bed with a balcony overlooking the pool and we found it very spacious and clean. It had just been renovated and had all we needed. The cooking equipment was very very basic but who wants to cook whilst on holiday - very cheap to eat out. there was no toaster but when we went to the food area on site they done us toast free of charge. There was a kettle but girls dont forget ur hairdryer. The pool was lovely and u could always get a sun bed. The complex also has there own restaurant on the front we booked a table for my birthday and they even pick you up and take you there. The food was excellent. the beach is a stone throw away.
The only down fall was the nightclub opposite. It opened earlier then we where told and it gets very noisey thru out the night and worse on a weekend. So dont forget to take your earplugs. Other holiday makers staying there said they got used to it and it you had an apartment on the grround floor or by the reception area it wasnt so noisy. We where in room 8 and had no sleep even after loads of raki but you do get used to it.
Great holiday and the trips that the reps offer are cheaper off site.

I love staying in these apartments. The staffs are so friendly as are the locals. The apartments are situated in the perfect location with bars and resturants in walking distance. The swimming pool is a lovely size as others in the area are tiny. I would reccomened the apartments to everyone families nearer the end of July whilst couples and youngsters towards the begining. I have been to these apartments 2 years running and will proberly go again next year.

i loved it, i can recommened it to anyone i loved it so much i plan to go back there next year the onli one thing that was annoyin was the flys and the medusa club cause it would keep you awake most of the night lol but everything was good if your looking for a good resturant to take u or your family its called family door the staff are brillant and funni and the resturant next to it is good aswell. the clubs are superb lol but u have to get used to the heat everything was good thanx everyone for good holiday
