Park Hotel

My friend and I stayed at the Park Hotel for just one night in July. Although we experienced no major problems, it is not a hotel to which we would return, especially because we had stayed at a very nice hotel 2 weeks earlier in Athens for the same price. The hotel is really just rather average and needs updating. The carpet is very worn and the decorating is nothing interesting. We were looking forward to a nice dinner and a good night's sleep. I am travelling to Athens often and stayed in many places througout the city. Comparing price to value this hotel is average. It has everything that a normal business hotel should have. Ans thats exactly it. Don't expect more. No more luxury than required to save themselves in the quality ratings. Not bad...it has been recently renovated.Its a very clean hotel, beautifuly decorated and the rooms are very spacious. Location is good too. A little on the pricey side for a room without a balcony.Staff is very helpful and friendly.
