We were disappointed with Palm Beach. As it was a 4 Star, we looked forward to a high quality hotel but it wasn't 4 Star standard in our view. That isn't to say it's a bad place, just disappointing. More like a better-than-average 3 Star.
Positives:
Next to the sea.
Lovely terrace next to the sea, for coffee, lunch, etc.
Nice (quiet) bar.
Reasonable breakfast with friendly service
Outdoor pool looked nice but we didn't use as it was December and a tad too cold for it.
Negatives:
Cramped room.
The hardest bed we've ever slept on - really uncomfortable and led to bad nights' sleep.
Bathroom fittings and decor very tired. Had to stoop to get under the shower head.
Surly reception staff.
Indoor pool on separate level to sauna/steam rooms and you have to walk between the two using an outside staircase. 10 Euro additional charge for the sauna/steam rooms which are nothing out of the oridnary.
- Advice: Up and coming holiday location. Nice promenade with bars and restaurants.

Just returned from a 2 week B+B holiday at this lovely 4*+ hotel. We were greeted by friendly and helpful staff. Our room was in the front of the hotel, sunny in the afternoon, very clean and comfortable bedroom. Maid service daily, room kept clean, and fresh towels daily if you needed them changing.
Breakfast was a grand affair, good choice of international cuisine, including bacon and eggs for those not adventurous enough to try local Cypriot food. All staff were friendly and as English is their 2nd language, understood most questions or requests.
The hotel has a lovely main pool area, spotlessly clean, with a safe children’s pool and adult pool. There is an indoor pool and gym, and another pool over in the bungalow area. Palm Beach is situated on a safe sand and pebble beach, warm crystal blue waters ideal for small children, although for swimmers, you have to walk quite a way out to swim in deeper water.A pleasant beach hut serves light snacks and drinks, if you prefer a larger meal, the Sea Breeze restaurant, next to the main pool, offers a varied and tasty choice.
The area itself is fairly quiet, a few good restaurants are situated nearby, including fast food bars. Shops are only small supermarkets, selling the usual tack, you can get a bus nearby into Larnaca, about 15 minutes away.
Overall it was an excellent hotel, a little pricey in the bar, except for Happy Hour, spotlessly clean, good food, with pleasant staff, Thanks Palm Beach it was wonderful. Yassoo

Had a great week at Palm Beach Hotel Larnaca . Breakfast was plentiful and varied something for everyone . Had room at front of hotel sat on balcony at night watching the sun set over the mountains . Maid service was good room cleaned and towels changed daily . The pool was lovely and beach is safe for non swimmers . Had a go at paragliding and jet skiing good fun . We took a snorkel and googles the fish are lovely out by the rocks . This hotel would have got 10 out of 10 if there had been a kettle in the room ! Would stay there again and take my travel kettle .
