I was @ Melia 01/01 upto 09/01/2011 y upgrade to royal service for 50us per adult, i had a wonderful vacation, the rooms have jacuzzi, rooms service, pillow menu. the restaurants are good but the Gaby Club is the best i ahd dinner 7 times in the Gaby.
Wake up early so that you can reserve a chaise lounge at the beach.

First they won't speak english to you. Check in was so screwed up waiting in long lines going no were. Getting dining reservations was imposible. The nmber to call was always busy. We had all 11 of us try and no answer. At one point went to one restaurant and they said had... more

Before I went I read some of these reviews that said bad things and started to worry what I had let myself into. All I can say it was wonderful rooms lovely pools lovely clean and very well keep everywhere thoughtout the hugh grounds people always cleaning beach lovely... more

We have just returned from one of the best hotels that we have ever stayed in! We usually stay in 5 star hotels and travel a lot, so I cannot understand all the bad reviews that I have read about this hotel. The whole resort is like paradise... beautiful gardens with exotic... more

not good at all...if you do not speak spanish or french you will not be spoken to, only to get u to sign up for a time-share, and unless you are a six foot blonde you will wait for ages at the bar. room absolutely disgusting children could not use their bathroom for hygiene... more

Excellent hotel, extremely good service, and food was exceptional. 9 a la carte restaurants to choose from each night and each one would have deserved Michelin stars, especially the French, International and the American restaurants) Also another 3 or 4 large buffet... more

The hotel was very disappointing, the room had a problem with the door, which wouldn’t open properly. You had to ask for alcohol in your drink, otherwise you didn’t have any at all!! Also, if a pretty young lady came up to the bar after you, they would get served first.... more

My husband and I just returned from our Honeymoon in Melia, Place was beautiful..... The grounds, the pools were beautiful, the room was always clean with fresh flowers and the mini bar always re-stocked daily. Everyone was helpful and friendly, It was a great vacation, and I highly recommend it!
