Ahoy to all you skiers out there.
I have recently returned from my third skiing trip, this one located in Borovets (Bulagaria) and I can honestly recommend any one of you to go. To start with, the chalet we stayed in (Chalet Rachel) was one of the nicest I have ever seen. It consisted of 3 good size bedrooms, a fully timbered interior and a sauna, which provided a perfect end to a long day on the slopes.
I joined the local ski school and they were great, as I was quite advanced I wasn’t held back by the others and I feel that my skiing really developed over the week, far more than on other skiing holidays.
There were hardly any waiting times for the lifts, even at peak times and never during the course of the week did I witness that horrific wait whilst the lift had broken down!
The nightlife was excellent, many of the restaurants had wood burning stoves to keep you warm and thee was something for everyone as the skiing ended from live musical entertainment to live entertainment in the numerous playboy bars!
Whatever your skiing tastes, I highly recommend the up and coming resort of Borevets as your next holiday destination.
As for me, after finishing my exams, I am on my way to Malia with the girls for a very different type of holiday!!
