The first five days in this hotel were bliss. Clean, tidy, well situated and well facilitated, HOWEVER. The day before we left (me and 3 other friends whom i was sharing the hotel room with) we all had things taken from the Hotel room. 1. My iphone, a friends iphone and money in excess of 100 euro. The door was locked and we left our valuables in the room so as not to lose them. When we returned our phones and money were missing, with no signs of a break in we could only assume a made or hotel management were the low life thieving bastards. apart from that incident it was great....

We went for a week at the Walhalla Apartments, Playa Del Ingles.
I would recommend it for everyone.
It’s near to the beach and the Yumbo Centre, Ideal for all.
There is a little hill walks, it’s a gradual walk though so not to bad.
Rooms are simple but clean and tidy.
All the staff are helpful and polite.
I would recommend it for a place to stay.

The apartments were ok,clean apart from broken glass in cupboard when we got there! Cleaned 5 days out of 7,bedding and towels changed every visit from our friendly maid which ive never known anywhere else,The pool was nice and warm and plenty of space 2 go and get sunlounger at any time of the day,The only donwnfall was the Reception staff were the same that ran the pool bar so if they were busy at reception no bar! But the staff were friendy and always said hola,Good location for the Yumbo centre only 5 mins walk,but be careful at night there are many pick-pockets about!

Poor security despite having cctv, anyone can walk into complex. Our room door (511) top floor next to emergency stairs, Double lock wasn't working and has a result our room was broken into on the first night. Staff not too interested. Shame has the Apartments have a lot to offer. will not be returning.

i had the best holiday ever here it is amazing with the beach about 5 minutes away and the great views we had the best holiday ever the accomidation was lovely with a good view of the sea and the pool and the bar is is very well cleaned every day and all the people are lovely there the food is lovely and the island is lovely .

can i just say like many people we went to the walhalla having been changed from santa clara and not too happy about it, after reading all sorts of horror stories we went expecting a flea pit! but we got just the opposite,we were four friends on a girls week away for a 50th birthday and we had the most fantastic week. yes the apartment was basic but it was spotless,sheets immaculate had just what you needed.Reception staff very friendly john and kev in the bar they were absolutely fab, friendly, needed anything you just had to ask.Faye the rep was great very friendly. We were there for halloween as you can see we went dressed for the part we went to sparkles and had a brilliant night laughed from beginning to end. We met some lovely people and would definitely go again.Certainly no complaints from us.

i was not expecting such high standards after reading the reviews on the walhalla, but i was very plesantly supprised when all 6 of us arrived in the middle of the night with 2 babies the reception man helped us in the lift and showed us our room and straight away organised us 2 travel cots which were as new. the room consisted of 2 bedrooms, bathroom,kitchen, living area and a balcony they were cleaned every day which was great as we got to meet the cleaning staff and learn a little spanish, the pool bar was fantastic and cheap drinks,happy hour is great because it was buy one get one free on all drinks every night, on a wed they have a fantastic snake show even my 2 year old son held one snake for his photo, and there is also quiz nights,eagle shows and even bingo the bar staff were great and friendly and english for those who dont speak spanish.
out and about the resort was fantastic too we were far away enough from noise but close enough to walk the 5 mins to the beach, bars, restraunts,solarium and lots and lots of shops if you go the other way its a 5 min walk to maspalomas where there are more shops bars and restraunts also for the children there is holiday world, a huge theam park of which only cost me and my son 2o euro to go on every ride twice lol sutiable for children of all ages the site also has restraunts and bars to make another good night out for all the family.
i loved this holiday so much im now moving from where i live in tenerife to playa del ingles, this was the best resort i have ever been to in all my years of traveling around spain, so if you want to meet friendly people i recomend this for your family.

hi just came back from walhalla apartments stayed for two weeks there was thirteen of us fantastic place to stay especially if you have kids. the staff are very friendly especially john(frogspon)he will tell u anything u need to know about the location and wan the bar man is also a very nice person and faye the rep is very helpful.the apartments are very clean there is lots to do in playa del ingles.

Just come back from a week in these appartments. Having read previous comments we were very concerned . We need not have been . The Walhalla is everything it says on the package . Clean , well presented,friendly helpfull staff. The room was cleaned six of the seven days with clean towels provided . The pool area is not over generous in size but there is plenty of space for sun beds . Its near to the beach , bars and restaurants . The pool side bar was popular with many of the other guests . The only negative comment we would make is that the pool bar plays the same music over and over which if it is nt your choice can get irritating . The Thomas Cook rep was a regular visitor and helpfull.
So if you ve booked here , dont worry . its a good place to stay and use as a base . If your going to the Yumbo Centre , visit the new Sparkles Show Bar its a good night out .
