Hotel Corralejo Beach

Stayed here in Nov 02 with my boyfriend. Had an excellent time. Ideal location. Better off s/c, loads of restaurants. The central night life is typical of spain, upstairs shopping centre come 'big market'(if your from newcastle) - but ideal for getting drunk and having a laugh or even falling off the bar stool!!!!. You can even get donnar kebabs!(not for me - honest) Beaches are fantastic and the pool bar is open until about 11.30pm - happy hour all night. I am returning nov 03 with my husband! We Will return every nov, Great hotel if you want a central, clean and basic base for your holiday. Casual dress - no need for any flashy outfits. Weather is generally hot, just nice, a bit wind and cool on an evening - pack a jacket. well recommended. enjoy!!

appartments very basic there is no air conditioning and you have to hire a fan at 24 euros plus 10 euros deposit you also have to hire toaster, kettle, t.v cable all at a cost of around 100 euros plus deposit for 2 weeks also do not take kids here as there is nothing for them to do apart from a swimming pool and shops are very expensive

we've just returned from two weeks at these apartments with our two children,everything was excellent,just round corner from beach,all shops restaurants and bars outside front door. apartments were cleaned daily,bedding changed twice weekly,all staff were polite and friendly. pool area was safe and clean,with loads of free sunbeds.pool bar was not bad prices with buy one get one free from 9-10pm nightly. would definatly go again. only bad point was the dark green walls!

we had a room above the hotel entrance, overlooking the main street. Yes it was noisy, but we included that as part of the holiday and it was really fantastic. I used to sit on the balcony with a cold beer, watching the world go by, whilst waiting for the other half. Much better than looking at a pool all day. It was fiesta time and one morning, a brass band started playing outside at 7 o clock. Hotel was a little tired but very clean. Staff were really nice. Hotel location could not be better. Afew steps to the centre for restaurants and bars, harbour, and beaches. Watch out for the camera shop scam. Offer you a new camcorder for 100 euros, but they will never sell you one for that price. After you agree to buy they tell you that really it is not very good and you should buy one a little more expensive. They show you how badly that camcorder is indoors. They connected it to their television to show you that it's pictures are very dark and without much colour. What they actually do is to turn the colour and brightness down on their telly, resetting it when they show you the difference with a more expensive camcorder. Holiday was realy great, climate ideal, plenty of sun and always a cooling breeze so you never felt hot, even to being a little chilly in the evenings. Have a nice time

Ideal location, spotless appartments and complex. Towels changed daily, bedding every 3 days. Accomodation a bit basic but you don't go on holiday to sit inside!Beautiful beach 2 minutes away, and loads of places to eat (all very good), staff very helpful even the Rep!Our brochure advertised air-con, it's actually a ceiling fan circulating air - we mentioned this and within 1/2 hour we had some fans delivered to our door.Very safe area for kids, they can't get out of the complex.What more can I say.

hotel based on the main strip of Corralejo. Staff a bit miserable, chamber maid put my bikini in the b-day and left it there. Pool on the small side, no lift, bar tiny, not exactly overlooking a beach as you would think, it overlooks the sea but there is no beach directly outside the hotel, just black rocks. Can be very noisey at night time and u have to pay every time you want to watch the television. Good points - well its in the centre of the resort, so not far to walk to bars and restaurants, near the harbour, thats about it.

helpfull friendly staff clean well kept appartments very good pool and bars superb location out the front door and your on the main street out the backdoor and your on the beach, you could throw a paper cup from the hotel and it would land on the beach, which was clean and free of litter, an exccellent holiday for both couples and familys.

Stayed at the apartments in Jan 2003 - accommodation far exceeded expectations. Staff were friendly, rooms kept clean and linen changed regularly. Absolutely first class position right in the middle of things and, bonus, right on the beach!
