Corralejo Beach Apartments Reviews
" This was an allocation on arrival... "
Submitted By: Mrs LM Wood
This was an allocation on arrival holiday we booked so we didn’t actually know which accommodation or resort we were staying in until we arrived at Fuerteventura Airport and were then told.
Resort of Corralejo is probably the best one on the Island. Ferry goes from this resort to Lanzarote all the time.
Fantastic sand dunes that stretch for as far as the eye can see are only 10 minutes away from the main resort and would recommend having a car to get to these. Even though we went in the school holidays we always found our own quiet spot.
Upon arrival reception area looked nice for 3* standard.
We were allocated a Studio, which was big enough for the 2 of us but wouldn’t recommend for a family. The balcony is the smallest I have ever seen and just overlooked a side street, so a bit grim.
No entertainment at night not even any background music so really was boring and did need to go out into the resort to be entertained. Not many on site facilities either. It did have a restaurant but not that good. Chips were vile and that was about all they offered.
However apartments were in excellent location in the middle of the resort. All restaurants and shops were on our door step and even though we went in the kids May half term it wasn’t that noisy.
Beach was directly behind the apartments. Must say that the beaches on Feurteventura are the best I have seen in the med and would compare them to those in the Caribbean easily.
All in all a good holiday, Fuerteventura is a fab place if you like a quiet holiday but would chose a different accommodation to stay in next time.

From where the apartments are situated 5 mins around the corner is the harbour where you can see and visit Lanzarote and Lobos (in a glass bottom boat and see the dolphins). The beaches are the best I have been on (on a par with the Caribbean). There are plenty of beautiful places to visit -bethenkuria-over the highest volcano on the island. The island has been made a national island so no more planning permission since 2004.
I recommend this place, I first went there when there was nothing but chickens running along the beach, and hardly any properties in the main street I’ve watched this place grow, LOVE IT. Recommend it Go there, relax, enjoy.
