What a fantastic holiday, my husband and our two girls had!
The rooms were large and very clean the pool was clean and the staff were extremely friendly. We booked to go back next year! A must for families!
I must add, that the time of year we went suited us well - not too busy but not too quiet either!
The entertainment was brill! I would advise self catering, the nearby restaurants were amazing. So much choice and value for money, the pool bar was also good and cheap.

Me and my friend stayed for 1 week at the Paz in Playa and really wish it had of been 2. Had a brilliant time, Cara and Bobby do a fantastic job and the entertainment is fantastic, there are also a strip of bars just round the corner and there is the Veronica strip, where all the clubs are but take plenty of money as they are open till late.
Food is lovely and staff are very friendly and helpful rooms are lovely and clean and didn’t see any cockroaches in the hotel. We had such a brilliant holiday there we are going again next year.
We went on several excursions- Loro Parque, Underwater Adventure and the Freebird and thoroughly enjoyed all of them.

As a family of 4 we all had a great time staying at Parque de la Paz. Apartment was big and clean, no cockroaches, we were on the 4th floor and although there were reports of the lift breaking down we never had a problem. No air conditioning but you can hire a fan.
Apartment was cleaned everyday apart from Tues & Fri used towels are left in the bath and are renewed everyday. Cara & Bobby who are in charge of all entertainment are not bad although can get a little repetitive but work very hard and hold a kids club everyday from 2.30 til 3.30 all the kids seem to love them. Billy Idol tribute was brilliant.
Although self catering we had dinner in the hotel once which was nice but there is loads of great restaurants very near especially Susie’s Chinese. Beach was very close and hotel is not up a hill so easy to walk everywhere. We booked all our trips thru George at rainbow excursions which is on far side of the hotel where we found great deals and he was very helpful and speaks great English.
There is also a supermarket there which is very good. Staff at the hotel were friendly enough if you spoke to them first. Pool was great but hard to get a sun bed unless you were down at 9am! Overall we had a great time and much preferred the area we were in of Playa de las Americas.

The only good thing about these apartments is the location. They are near the decent shops and the nice beach in Las Americas. The apartments were shabby, and the standard of the maid service was terrible. There were cockroaches in the bathroom the size of the Fred Olson Ferry that runs to Lanzarote and we were on the third floor so they couldn’t say they were from the garden.
On our last day we wanted a late check out as we didn’t fly until midnight, we were told we couldn’t have a late check out in our room as they needed all the rooms of that size for incoming guests , we were offered another room for the day but we had to pay 68 euros for it. After we had paid we discovered that the room we were moving to was exactly the same size as the one they made us leave and should have been available for a late check out at 30 Euros. All in all the standard of customer service was dreadful.
The entertainment was really, really bad - my daughter had been in many, many amateur shows and we have sat through some painfully bad shows before, but this was even worse.

This hotel is amazing! I went with my family in June last year for 2 weeks and was by far the best apartment I have ever stayed in! We had a 2 bedroom apartment with to balconies.
One facing the pool and the other towards the sea. We went self catering but sometimes we went at eat by the pool at the bar. It was great! May I suggest getting the burgers, there the best burgers ever! The staff are great to, we got a sheets and towels changed every 2 days and there very, very friendly! In the evenings we would go and look around Playa las Americas (which is beautiful) and find a nice place to eat, near the beach normally.
Then we would make our way back to the apartment and get a drink at the pool bar. We would play a game of bingo and buy some raffle tickets. We once one a bottle of Bacardi! The beach is only a few meters away, its a great beach and we went to this water park, it was great!
So many different things to do, and we got on a free bus ride to it! It was called Octopus Aqua Park and I would recommend it for families! Anyway, just thought I’d share my great holiday in Tenerife and the great apartment we stayed in! I would recommend it for families and couples! Thanks.

My boyfriend and I (23 and 34) both enjoyed our stay at the hotel and have even booked to go back on the 13 June 2006. Not long now! Having read the reviews I think it only fair to say that if you are looking for a holiday where you don’t leave the hotel then this is not for you.
The hotel is in a brilliant location you are near to all the designer shops banks restaurants and there are lots of good British pubs on your door step. We had a ground floor and did get some cockroaches but we were only ever in our room or the hotel to get changed or sleep. We had clean towels daily and we asked if our bedding could be changed in the week we were there and it was. We did hear some of the entertainment but only whilst getting ready to go out and I agree it didn’t sound that great. We can’t even comment on the pool because we didn’t get that far!
The hotel is great for us because like I say everything you need is on your door step and even Starbucks is in walking distance, so if you’re like us and a holiday is about shopping drinking and having fun this is the place to stay.

I’m 13 and I’m just back from the hotel, I really enjoyed myself and I loved the rooms (although I was sleeping in the living room) the only complaint I have is that the sofa wasn’t very comfy!
I thought the reception was beautiful and I was on the computers everyday. The pool was brilliant I even found money at the bottom of the pool! And the food was yummie. I went to the kids club which is held by Cara and Bobby (Entertainers) it was fun and all the kiddies loved it, I would recommend it if you go there.
The Evening was very enjoyable and has 2 games of bingo and a raffle every night and there’s always a movie for kiddies which is held by Cara and Bobby and they made the holiday better than I thought it would be. I never had any cockroaches in this hotel and i did the 2nd time I came to Tenerife (not in this hotel) the towels were clean and were changed 2 times a week and bedding once a week.
I would definitely recommend this hotel for families with kids and teens, I’m definitely getting my mum and dad to book a week or 2 there again!

Hi, I am 17 years old (well 16 at the time) and I feel it relevant for me to add my comments on here, talking from a teenagers point of view! I did really enjoy my stay at Parque de la pas, although I feel that there is room for great improvement for the hotel as a whole.
I feel that the entertainment was a little bland, and very repetitive which leaded to me and others going to other places in order to find the best (coconut joes - recommend it widely, especially Elvis!!) Although I did find the 'English' entertainment people very good on the whole and they did get the crowd going, although seeing them perform one time is enough, and didn’t want to watch another show of the same genre.
The staff are really friendly, and helpful. At the time in which I stayed at the resort everything was very tidy almost immaculate, and there didn’t appear to be any problems on that side of things. Although I did find that the cleaner did tend to move my belongings around, in order to tidy up, which wasn’t appreciated as I am a teenager and find things easier to find things when they are scattered everywhere!!!
When I arrived at the hotel and saw the 'horrible' entrance I thought to myself 'oh no what have we done!!' but I can assure you that when you enter the hotel things do get better, so don’t panic, ok!!!
I know this is going to sound really weird, but we didn’t actually get chance to go in the pool, as we were always at the beach or suffering from hangovers and feeling sorry for ourselves, so having kids splashing you with water and shouting down ya ear hole wasn’t our thing on those days!!! But it looked wicked and clean.
The beaches are very nice, and the weather was great, actually too great: as I got a huge sun tan and wasn’t able to move for 3days, finally making it to speak to a pharmacist!! But I have learnt my lesson ' Wear sun tan kids, you don’t look cool, but trust me it’s worth it'.
All in all I enjoyed my holiday very much, and so did my friends!!!! Cocktails- try them!!!!!!!
I would definitely go back again, and might even go back next year, depending on how my next holiday to Tunisia is!!
Have a wicked time, and remember coconut jo's, the best, plus there is fit lads there girlies!!!!

When we arrived to the hotel we thought it looked ok, got to our room it looked clean & everything seemed good.
A few days into the holiday we had a cockroach in the room, which my boyfriend removed & I wasn't really too worried as we had a ground floor which had grass just outside. The next day it had been raining me & my boyfriend popped back to the apartment before going back out & switched the light on & loads of cockroaches ran across the floor.
We went & told reception & they said they would sort it while we were out. We got back looked on the balcony & there were about 12 dead ones on the floor. I felt happy as they were all dead & thought what ever they had been put down would stop more coming in but I was wrong. I was sitting in bed reading when out the corner of my eye I saw one crawl across the wall & I thought that’s it I can't stay here.
So we went back to reception the man came with us with a spray & then said he would move us, we were moved to the 2nd floor & didn't see another one. The towels which you are given are brown which worries me as it looks like there covering up dirty marks & they aren't changed everyday so if you’re booked to go I’d make sure you have your own.
I am a travel agent & I can assure you I wouldn't book this for anyone unless they asked for it. Where it is situated is great & the surrounding areas are brilliant, but when I go again I will be looking for a different hotel to stay in.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at the Parque De La Pas, it will be our last. The apartments are now in a very poor state, although they were refurbished in 2003. The cleanliness was so poor, we even had cockroaches on the fourth floor. The towels stunk of body odour, when we first arrived, and when they changed them after the first week, the clean towels stunk the same.
The entertainment was so poor, and repetitive, both weeks entertainment was the same. We also had a mini tornado in the pool complex, which ripped a large hole in the tarpolin, over the pool bar. An umbrella, lifted along with some inflatables 100 foot in the air, and disappeared over the complex. Cancel if you have already booked. Tenerife and area fantastic, 11 years on the trot, and booked already for next year, at Sunwing Resort Fanabe, its worth paying that little bit more.

We as a family have stayed here 4 times and have never had a bad stay.
The staff are really friendly, helpful and polite, Thomas along with Domingo run a tight ship to make your stay a good one.
Rooms are basic but are very clean and spacious; towels are changed regularly by polite cleaners.
The pool is not heated but who cares as it’s hot and its nice to cool down, Cara and Bobby run the entertainment and work very hard to make your stay a welcome one (remember this is a family resort).
With bars, restaurants supermarkets near by there is nothing more you need, plus for the ladies there’s shops to keep her happy on those rare rainy days.
I have read other comments from other people and they must have stayed somewhere else or just do this for a laugh, lets face it its full all year with most being returnees, so if you are going 2007 enjoy yourselves and I look forward to your comments.
