My partner and I stayed at Parque de la Paz in the first week of May 2008. The aparthotel is situated in Playa de la Vista (between Playa de las Americas and Los Cristianos) our favourite part of the coast. I was very impressed with the cleaniness, space and comfort of our room. In my opinion the aparthotel was ideally situated, near the designer shops, pyramid theatre and long sandy beach of Playa de la Vista. The hotel entertainment wasn't our cup of tea, cabaret and bingo. This didn't bother us, because like many we spent the evenings eating out and visiting bars.
Surrounding Area-
Just a short walk along the coast you will find Playa de las Americas. This part of the resort is for the party animals, with many pubs and clubs. The surfers use the rocky beach at this end of the island. There are many beach front bars where you can enjoy drink and food whilst watching the surfers ride the waves.
Just a short walk in the other direction you will find the sandy beach of Los Cristianos and the harbour. We took a boat ride out to see the pilot whales and dolphins. I would recommend it to any one, it was a once in a life time experience.
In the centre of the shops opposite the pyramid theatre you will find a huge water fountain. At 9pm each evening there is music and a water display. It's really magical, crowds of vistors gather to watch. Harry's bar over looks the display. They sell delicious coktails !!
I hope you enjoy your stay at Tenerife. We have been for two years running and would still visit again. It caters for everybody and each day you will find something new.

I have just returned from a great week's holiday at Parque De La Paz with my 11 year old daughter. The apartment was very spacious and clean with adequate facilities. All staff were very friendly and helpful.
The pool was lovely and there was even a lifeguard in attendance. Unfortunately sunbeds were limited so you had to get to the pool area early.
There was a restaurant at the complex although we didn't use this as we preferred to eat out. A great bar for food was "The Corner Bar" adjacent to the complex.
Cara and Bobby organised some great evening entertainment although we were disappointed that there were no daytime activities as stated in the brochure except the kids club.
Whilst the complex had a strict rule that entertainment must finish at midnight, unfortunately our room overlooked "Coconut Joe's" bar where the music carried on until 2.00 a.m.
Overall a great holiday complex in a fantastic location a few minutes walk from the beach and shops.

My husband and I stayed for two weeks with our two youngest children. Had a great holiday, appartments were a little basic, but fine for what we wanted. Great food, good entertainment every night. Would definately return. All staff were very friendly and helpful, this complex is suitable for all ages and has facilities for disabled visitors. Quite a large apparthotel, the pool is lovely and the weathewr was great - we all got a super tan. Would recommend to anyone.

Just got back from an amazing holiday in Tenerife. This was my 5th trip to Tenerife and after the last visit i said i wouldnt go again as nightlife was deteriorating and everywhere was very run down, but i went against my word in search of some sun and i had a big surprise, it has really improved, not the grotty place i remember it to be...nightlife was fantastic too!
There was two of us, both girls in our 20s staying at Parque de la Paz and generally it was a good place to stay.
We had a one bedroom apartment which was very spacious, had seperate lounge, bedroom, kitchen and bathroom with a balcony overlooking a walkway outside.
Cleaners cleaned the rooms 6 out of the 7 days of our stay, and did a good job. Towels were only changed twice during the week, they weren't very absorbent with a really musty smell, luckily as it was hot we dried off within a couple of mins of getting out the shower!
We didn't have much hot water for the first couple of days but as soon as we reported it, they changed the settings on the boiler and we got enough for two showers!
Nice sized pool which was very clean! To get a sunbed you had to be up at the crack of dawn! Very friendly bar staff and good food!
Great location too....a few bars just a 50metre walk from the apartments, 5 mins to a lovely sandy beach and a 15 min walk to the veronicasStarco complex....would recommend Mett bar and Linekers for a fantastic night out!
One thing they are very strict on is security.... NO visitors are allowed after 10pm until 9am! We had some friends staying out there who attempted to come to visit after nights out and the security guard was having none of it so they had to leave!
All in all a fantastic holiday, great location, great weather and fantastic people!
Tenerife...we'll be back!

we stayed here on a very cheap last minute deal in the whit half term. it is the best holiday we have had yet you couldn't fault anything. very central, nice pool bar with good food you can eat in the hotel restaurant but we never did as we like to go out and about. the entertainment was arranged by cara and bobby they were fantastic with the kids and 2/3 shows and bingo every night she even did a kids club for an hour 5 days a week. if you've booked you will enjoy it and they are very strict about noise after a certain time we never go back to the same hotel twice but we are already looking for next year alot of people go here repeatedly.

we stayed here for a week March/April 08. our apartment was a 2 bedroomed, absolutely fantastic, very spacious. however there was no kettle and no instructions on how to get hot water. soon cleared this up with reception staff who were very friendly, cleaning staff didn't see much of them but the room was cleaned every day bar sunday.
unless you got up early you didn't get a sunbed, that was our only complaint. the towels were green and had a funny smell, not very absorbent either but clean.
my only advice, don't go with Cosmos. the rep was crap, came once and told us she didn't come to the apartments unless we phoned her and as we had been to tenerife before she would let us get on with it!!!! money for old rope if you ask me.
would advise anyone to stay here, old and young alike. we were self catering as there are so many cheap places to eat and the hotel food was very limited.
would use this apartment again but would book independently.

i returned from tenerife nearly a week ago and had a superb time! my only complaint was the weather, which is out of the hands of all of us!
the parque de la paz apartments were the best that i have stayed in, out of all my holdidays to the canary islands!
the room was lovely and clean, and very spacious. towels only changed once but for a week i see that as acceptable, as we all take towels and it save energy and the environment!
all staff were very friendly, someone (a guest) stole my clothes and they did all to help me to recover them, even though this was not successful.
we did not eat there but the poolside food looked lovely and the area was immaculate.
a all rounder excellent hotel located in a flat and beach view location.
the location was wonderful, a very nice and classy part, as i was not all that impressed with the centre of las americas, and as a 23 yr old that is saying something. it was run down and did not give me any any motivation to visit the clubs round there.

What is not to love about this Complex? Me, my Fiancé, my 15 month old daughter, brother, sister in law and 3 children aged 6,4 and 2 had a fantastic time when we stayed at the Parque De La Paz.
We returned home yesterday and have already started looking to re book for next year. The rooms were spacious and kept beautifully clean and we had no problems with rude staff (it was the holiday makers (mostly foreign) that had the attitude...talk about rudeness).
The entire complex was kept spotless, there were maids around ever morning sweeping and mopping and handy men watering plants and emptying bins. The pool was nice, but the water was freezing!
Evening entertainment is run by Cara and Bobby - a lovely couple who organise acts from Abba tributes to Drag kings - certainly worth seeing, but the entertainment all around was cracking (Try the Corner bar - Billy Connolly tribute is great) - also close by the best Indian and Chinese food I have EVER eaten. - Star of Asia is a must, and a little Chinese restaurant just down from the corner bar near coconut Joes.
The only thing I would change about this holiday was the annoying looky looky men and the Chinese woman selling flashing toys (which by the way they stored in rubbish bins so I wouldn't touch them with a barge pole never mind let my child have one!!!).
All in all a fabulous holiday and we just can't wait to go back again!

We had booked through a travel agent for a 10 day holiday for me and my husband, the cost of a self catering holiday was over £800. We were offered sea views, very nice I thought, well if you stood on a chair on the balcony on a clear day, well ok yep you could just see the sea. We were on the main road side of the hotel and every morning around 3am the bin men arrive and empty the bottle bins, lovely.
The maids were ok but the reception staff need some people skills. The room was clean (just) I just couldn’t believe there was no kettle provided, we have paid a lot less for holidays in Tenerife and had a lot better accommodation (our usual place was booked up). The beds were so uncomfortable that my hubby slept on the sofa. We live on a main road and I get up at 4am every day for work so after 6 days we paid for another flight to get us home, our car was parked at Newcastle but we could only get a flight to Manchester, but it was worth it just to get home for a rest. If you want a restful holiday steer clear of this hotel.

Stayed in the Parque de la Paz this summer with three of my friends, our ages range from 19-22.
The hotel is in a great location, only five minute walk away to the beach, there is also handy little bars just has you come out from the hotel. Its only ten minute walk away to the nightlife so you don't need to pay for any taxis but you still get a good night’s sleep if required.
Lots of cafes and shops nearby too. The staff at the hotel are really friendly and always smiling, our rooms were very spacious....it did hold 4 young ladies and were always cleaned.
They also do evening entertainment which was quite good.
Only thing I have to warn people about is the security. The hotel as a guard on a night which is very strict. Heard a few stories about people being asked to leave. They will not take any nonsense.
Overall great stay.

Hi, I'd read some mixed reviews about this hotel I found some right some wrong when we arrived reception staff not very friendly at all or the cleaning staff.
We were also upset that we had been put in a room above reception which all you heard all night was people laughing and screaming and there were the bins being emptied at 4am sometimes 3am, and then work underneath our balcony digging up the pavements with a tadger at 7am, we were asked to be moved but were told this wasn’t possible and the rep didn’t seem to want to know either.
The one thing I can say is that the entertainment is really good different every night and they do something for the kids as well.
You will not be able to keep the room on after 12 noon as they don’t allow it and they don’t have a room for your luggage or a shower room either, so if you have a late flight like we had be careful as to where you leave luggage cause most people leave it in reception and anyone could mess with it.
You can hire things like a fan, kettle and toaster etc but you have to do it in the morning as the hotel use a separate hire company for these sort of things and just phone for them off the hire company when needed only once in the daytime
Food from the pool bar is really nice but a bar round the corner called the Corner Bar is really good for breakfasts and even do a midweek roast on a Wednesday which is great.
I’ve been going to Tenerife for years but I don’t think I’ll be going back to this hotel in the future.

My partner and I stayed at Parque de la Paz in the first week of May. The apartments are situated in Playa de las Vista (between Playa de las Americas and Los Crisitianos) our favourite part of the coast. It's a great location near the shops, theatre and long sandy beach of Playa de la Vista.
I was impressed by the cleaniness, space and comfort of our room. The maids regulary visted throughout the week.
The entertainment wasn't our cup of tea, cabaret and bingo. This didn't really bother us, like many we spent the evenings eating out and visiting the local bars.
Surrounding Area -
In the centre of the shops opposite the theatre is a huge water fountain. At 9pm each evening there is a musical water display. It's truly magical. Many people gather to watch. My partner and i would sometimes sit at Harry's Bar, it over looked the fountain and had a delicious cocktail menu!
Just a short walk along the coast you will find Playa de las Americas. This end of the coast is for the party animals. There are many pubs and clubs in the area. In the day surfers take to the rocky beach, to catch the big waves. It's lovely to watch them whilst sitting in one of the beach front resturants or bars.
A short walk in the other direction is Los Critianos. There is a sandy beach and harbour at this end of the resort. we took a boat trip out to watch the pilot whales and dolphins. It was something I will always remember and would recommend it to anyone.
Between the small sandy beach of Playa de las Americas and the long beach of Playa de la Vista (the one with the fountain) there is a rocky walk way. Apparently it used to be private land and somebody made a rock swimming pool. The sea has conquened it now, but there are small fish, crabs and lizards if you look closely enough. Prepare to get wet if you take this short cut. It isn't suitable for older people and children as the waves spalsh the area and it can become slippery. We found this on the second day and took the route everyday after.
This was a second visit to Tenerife in under a year and we would still visit again. We love the area around Playa de la Vista. The area caters for everybody and you will find something new each day. Enjoy your trip (I am really jealous, I wish I was there again).
