My daughter and I stayed there for a week at the beginning of October which turn out to be hotter than thier own summer !!, to be honest this is a no frills place to stay,so if you just want somewhere to act as a base and go of exploring this is ideal, we had no problem... more

arrived at club oro blanco before we even dropped our bags were asked for 90 euro deposit . a huge chunk out of our spends . rooms were basic but NO aircon which was a night mare had one meal in the bar but table had ants all over it so took our meals and sat near pool . weather was only good thing about our stay in tenerife

Arrived on the 9th June 2006 just in time for the world cup. Found the apartment bright and airy, large enough for a family of five, even with my three lads. Staff were nice, food ok but you have to wait a while as they only have one bar staff on who are rushed off their feet. The complex it self was ok but step out side at night and what greets you a few yards down on your left and even across the road and at the round about are prostitues they even approached my 15 year old son asking if he had 20 euros and they would show him a good time.... more

Me and my fiancé stayed at the Oro Blanco for a week at the end of June. We did not want the holiday to end. I must admit to being slightly worried after reading some reviews but i am pleased to say that i have nothing to complain about. Have just returned from a 7 night holiday at Oro Blanco. The apartments themselves were lovely, although there was a slight ant problem which could be a problem for families. We stayed in a large apartment, although we had a late check out room on our final day where we were given a studio - this was tiny with no balcony. So would recommend that the 1 bedroom is worth the extra. Apartments were very warm with no air conditioning, however, you could hire a fan for 15 euros for the week. We have just returned from a 2 week holiday at the Oro Blanco apartments in Tenerife. These apartments were exceptionally clean, linen was changed loads of times. We had an excellent pool view which overlooked Las Americas & Los Christianos. Magnificent views to be seen. There are approx. 6 floors with lifts and wheelchair access, a Jacuzzi and Sauna (only 5 euro for 1/2 hour and its wonderful!) I've just returned from a week at the Oro Blanco appartments with my 14 yr old daughter. Was a bit warey of the accommodation but shouldn't have been. The appartments are great value for money - hugh and clean. Ours was a large one bedroom with nice lounge, big bathroom and two patios doors (one from bedroom and other from lounge) out onto a nice balcony. Room did overlook the road which was noisy but the view of golf course and mountains made up for that and got the morning sun which was great as the sun doesn't get onto the pool area... more

Over all we had a great holiday, we flew with Airtours/My Travel, we payed to sit together, but not for in-flight meals, but we were given them any way and they were really good. The accommodation was ok, not the cleanest, our toilet smelled like the gents when we arrived and for the whole duration, i'd advise a rim block! don't walk around barefoot the floors were very gritty and it ends up in your bed, and they dont get changed until you leave! Weather was brill and hotel was fantasic.Very well kept and clean.Lovely pool side bar area, although not a lot of entertainment within the hotel.However, this wasnt a real problem as hotel has an excellant location for all bars restaurants and shops. it is a great place to stay it is very clean and you get appreciated. Staff are there 24 hours a day and they dont mind helping out. they keep items safe in a hotel safe which you can enter by just asking. they have good english so if you are struggling for a holiday go there. more
