Oro Blanco

The room was quality, me and four of my friends went and it we couldn’t of asked for more!! Didn’t really need cooking facilities because we ate out all the time, as there are lots of lovely restaurants in adequate walking distance.
Not the place for middle aged couples, its more for groups of friends and young families.
Party on!!
The view from our balcony was spot on!! The nightlife is quality, pure fit birds everywhere!! Hotel staff were quite friendly, until we were evicted for being to noisy, but they compromised and let us stay as we only had one night left!!
Did seem to get very rowdy at stupid o'clock in the morning but what do you expect when your on holiday!!
In a word, FANTASTIC!!

Room was nice but cooking facilities rubbish - 2 rings which were either hot or cold - no in between. Hotel very very noisy all night - not the place to stay if you need to sleep at all. No entertainment to speak of. Just a karaoke night - very hard to get near the pool if you are over 30 years of age!
All in all ok but not a good place to stay for middle aged people.
Jo the rep was lovely - very helpful and most of the reception staff were very friendly. The rooms were cleanish and the view from the balcony was wonderful. Wouldn't stay there again though.

Apart from the flight being delayed around eight hours due to the aircraft being ''stuck in the hanger'', getting only a complementary drink in return! Playa de Las Americas was alot hotter than I thought it would be with us going in November, first day we got there was okay, apart from the guy on the balcony, with a video camera clearly pointed at the women sunbathing next to us topless! This was obviously reported, but we made it obvious he was seen by us which give him a fright! Bar staff were furious but said they could not do anything about it, then when me & my girlfriend left the hotel at night for a meal, there was a strip club near enough either side of our hotel & people mithering & mithering us to buy things & go to there restaurant, but the meal was nice.
Couple of days later-at the water park, the water park was salt water! Not very nice at all! Earlier in the day my mother rang telling me about a swarm of these locust's heading near canary islands, but I took no notice because she does worry too much! Then me & Nicola get in some kind of a double inflatable ring in the water & it just floats round a river sort of thing, what do we see floating upside down in the water right next to us wriggling-yes, a locust & you can guess. . . So on.
Apart from all of that it was an alright holiday overall.
Until we got back to Manchester airport! I had like one of those new plastic red suit cases, the bottom of the case was crushed! So I reported it at the office at airport right away, filled out loads of forms, was told I would receive a new one in couple of days....three month later I get it, wrong colour & size & had to buy a new one because my mother was meant to use it a week after me.
