Submitted By: Mr G GormanThe only complaint we had was that the room we had was below the main water storage tanks and we could not sleep due to the noise from the pumps.
When we complained they were not in the least surprised and offered us alternative rooms . We did not accept their first offer and after another two sleepless nights we were moved to a lovely quiet room.
We have since e mailed the head ofice in Cyprus and also the Hotel manager.
We received prompt replies apologising for the problems we had and informing us that the tanks etc were due to be removed in 2008.
Apart from this it is an excellent hotel with very polite and helpful staff and all areas are kept spotless. If you are going out for the day an excellent packed lunch is available if you order it at reception the evening before
We would certainly go back to this hotel if they carry out the improvements promised
There are many hotels in the Louis Group and they should be very good if this one is is anything to go by.
Enjoy your holiday

Submitted By: Mrs L J PIt is clean, modern, peaceful and friendly.
We had a garden room 20 meters from pool and approx 70 meters from sea.
Food was fantastic and plenty of it - lunchtime rush a bit crazy but give it 30 mins and the crowds disperse - strange guest behaviour given food is available all day!
Drinks & Bar Service were great chilled 1 ltr bottles of water available saving many repeat trips to the bar during day - even the local beer taste good.
I knocked 1 point off for the entertainment - which isnt great. But a holiday is what you make of it and the fun our son had dancing with his new friends was more than enough to make up for this glitch.
We didnt venture too many times from the hotel - really no need to. A couple of bars and shops across the street which seem decent enough and serve great cocktails!

Submitted By: Miss A MorelandPeople who want a relaxing holiday should go there.
The staff are good and the food is fantastic. Rooms are clean as is the pool.
Not much to do outside of the hotel either - pretty glum in all honesty.
Lots of German tourists stay at that hotel - they are rude and very dismissive of us English people which is rather annoying!!!!
For the money we paid we could have got a lot elsewhere!

Submitted By: Mr R G MendittaThis was not completely the case, although the hotel is of a good quality always clean with friendly and helpful staff its major fault is the entertainment.
The quality of entertainment was so very, very poor it was embarrassing. If you have children young or older do not come to this hotel there is just not enough things for them to do.
If however you like just chilling at the pool (excellent) or beach (not situated on one of the best beaches in Cyprus as it says in the brochure) then by all means come or if you want a better time go to the Louis Imperial in Paphos.
I sincerely hope that the Louis chain take note of its customer comments as this hotel could be better.

Submitted By: Mrs T GawlerThe hotel is first class, always very clean, and excellent choice of food. We cannot fault the hotel, staff or cleanliness. This is definitely a "laze around the pool" holiday. The beach is very small and could be improved upon.
There are stones to cross before you meet the sea. Once you are in the stones disappear and you can paddle out quite a distance and it is still only up to your hips. Great for kids though.
The evening entertainment is still pretty much nonexistent, and for the very high standard of the hotel, this does let it down a little. We paid extra for the pool/sea view and it’s well worth it.
We only ventured outside the hotel twice, once to walk along the beach (not much to see), and secondly to cross the road to the shop (a very busy road!). We were all inclusive and the hotel had everything we needed. We also got married whilst at the hotel.
We should have married at Larnaca Town Hall, but it has not been rebuilt yet! It is in temporary rooms above the KFC, TGI Fridays & McDonalds! We didn't find this out until we arrived there 4 days before the wedding.
The hotel does not normally hold weddings, but as we had been let down, and the venue was totally out of the question, they allowed us to hold the wedding in the grounds of the hotel. It was fantastic! They kept an area clear for us and provided champagne.
They could not do enough to help. They made the wedding day a day to remember, and we could not thank them enough. We will most definitely return to this hotel in the future and would recommend it to friends and family.

Submitted By: Mrs L Thatcher-hallAlthough the hotel is right on the beach its dark sand and to actually get into the sea you have to go over a lot of large pebbles. If you have small children hotel run kids club with Margarita is good.
My children 10 and 11 this was our 3rd year at this hotel, we feel we have outgrown the hotel, as the evening entertainment really is non existent, apart from karaoke night. Be prepared to get up early for the sun beds.

Submitted By: Mrs K GillThe hotel also offered pool towels, you paid 5 Cypriot pounds for each towel which you could exchange every 3 days, at the end of the holiday you get your 5 pounds back, an excellent service.
Entertainment was a little poor on an evening but you can always make your own.
Buses ran every 30 mins into Larnaca for 60 cents, and into Ayia Napa every hour at a cost of 3 pounds return.
I would definitely recommend this hotel the staff and everyone were so friendly and we would certainly visit again.

Submitted By: Mr T PulleynWhilst being taken to the hotel by your transfer rep, try not to look out at the building sites and unfinished roadwork’s on the way - we made this mistake and were getting worried by the time we reached the hotel! How wrong we were!
The hotel is an absolutely fantastic example of the Louis brand and upon arrival we were checked in immediately and shown to our rooms. The rooms were fantastic and, if given the option it is definitely worth paying an extra #40 for a pool and sea view - otherwise you will be looking out onto a taxi rank and cocktail bar!
The pool is by far the best I have ever seen, always clean and with a waterfall and Jacuzzi inbuilt into it, there is always something to do!
Being all-inclusive made us put on a fair bit of weight as the quality of it is always first class. From barbecue evenings by the beach to soiree nights in the king’s restaurant, there is something to meet the tastes of everyone. Quick tip though, if you enjoy eating seafood, try the mussels!
The beach itself was disappointing, very small and narrow and to be able to get the water past your knees you have to walk out a considerable distance, once you have done you find yourself in Larnaca ports shipping lanes! However there is a water sports hut and also an inflatable playground which is always fun to go on when it gets too hot by the pool.
If you are taking kids with you then the free kids club run by Maya and Margherita is perfect. These guys work fantastically hard and provide everything from face painting and colouring to making sandcastles and treasure hunts. For the adults too there is a similar program including volleyball, archery, water polo and for the really keen, aerobics! Evening entertainment is average but if you are going for 14 nights your best bet is to go out one week as the program is the same week in week out.
All in all this is a fantastic hotel where the staff really care about you. The only down side to this hotel is the location. To get into Larnaca town itself there is a 15 minute bus ride (but only 60 cents each) and to get to Ayia Napa you are looking at a 1hr bus journey. You can of course always get a taxi but these are overpriced and take about the same time as the buses!
Thank you to everyone at the Louis Princess who helped make our holiday for 9 of us run so smoothly and efficiently! The service was second to none and Vicky the barmaid deserves a medal for putting up with us!
ty is wild!!

We chose this hotel as I felt it offered great value for money and the pictures shown in the brochure made the hotel look beautiful. To be honest I was a bit nervous as I had made all the arrangements for me and my husband and both sets of parents and its always hard to find somewhere that will suit everyone.
My first impression when we arrived was that it did look lovely, we checked in at the reception quickly and efficiently and a porter helped us to our rooms with our baggage. We were thrilled to find that our 3 rooms were next to one another and we were situated in the ground floor bungalows facing the pool, to say the view was gorgeous was an understatement.
We then went for dinner (men have to wear long trousers in the dinning room in the evening) the buffet provided an excellent selection of salads and hot food and you could help yourself to whatever you wanted. The food continued like this for the rest of the holiday, with a different theme selected for each night. Meals throughout the day were provided either through the dinning room or at the snack bar by the beach; either way, there was something for everyone.
The staff in the hotel were so friendly and looked after your every need, no matter what you asked for they arranged it and it was no trouble. We all would return to this hotel again, in fact my mother and father in law are going back in October!
We just have a couple of points which we feel would make it even better, one being the lack of water sports. It’s quite common for an all-inclusive hotel to offer the likes of free pedaloes, kayaks etc, but they didn’t have anything like this provided by the hotel (however there is a place further along the beach where you can hire these things out for various charges.) The other suggestion would be to dump a few tons of sand on the beach as it is just pebbles so not easy to walk on into the sea. (There is a grassy area where the sunbeds are located by the water).

The setting around the pool has mimicked a beach and they have made a good job of it, to be honest I preferred to sit here than by the sea anyway as it was so relaxing and you could jump into the pool at anytime. (The pool also has a good size Jacuzzi and is very clean).
All in all (as you can tell from the length of this review) we loved the hotel and the staff and would have no hesitation in recommending it to our friends and family. In summary a first-class hotel and its nice to see that the pictures in the brochure are a very true representation of the real thing.
" What a great holiday…

We have just returned from the Louis Princess Beach Hotel after 2 glorious weeks of doing nothing.
We booked the hotel through Thomas Cook, who use Excel Airways to fly you there and they were appalling. The service was a disgrace and the aircraft was filthy. We felt very down by the time we arrived in Larnaca; hoping that the transfer and hotel would be better, and boy was it. The transfer took us 10 minutes and the first impressions of the hotel when we arrived were WOW! Other people on our coach who were not staying there we heard saying, “That looks like a really top hotel and I wish we were staying there”.
We checked in quickly and the porter took our luggage to our room, the room itself was spacious and over looked the pool and sea, the views were great. We went on holiday with a friend who stayed in the main hotel block and the rooms in the main part of the hotel have all been refurbished and look fantastic and I understand from talking to the staff that the Garden rooms are also planned to undergo a refurbishment.
We went on an all-inclusive package and all our meals and drinks were included as part of the deal. Breakfast, Lunch, Afternoon Tea, Dinner, plus snack such as Toasted Sandwiches and Burgers were also available from 10.30am till 17.00pm, and yes we ate all day every day for 2 weeks and ended up looking like a rolly Polly by the end of the holiday. The drinks were extensive and a variety of local spirits and beers were available as were some really potent cocktails and again all these were included.
The beaches at Larnaca are Blue Flag registered however we were a little disappointed as they were not that great, possibly because of them going out of season so not as much attention is given to them. We did spend most of our time at the poolside but you could go off and do some tours etc.
Larnaca is a quiet resort and again not many shops to wander though in the evening and if you wanted to shop you would need to get a bus or taxi out into somewhere more lively, but for relaxing holiday I would recommend it.

The entertainment was however very low key, so be prepared to play cards, chat with new found friends etc. most evenings. The kids club was enjoyed by our 8 year old.
The area of Larnaca is not the most beautiful on the island, so a trip to other areas occasionally (Protaras, Aiya Napa) is nice. We went on the jeep safari to Famagusta, which was very informative regarding the history of the island. Get a cab from the airport rather than book transfers, should only be about 20 euros each way. Other than the entertainment, this hotel is 100% brilliant.
