Overall, a little dated in design and decoration, but the whole hotel is spotless and well equipped, and the staff are all very friendly and efficient and speak very good English.
As with most business hotels, the breakfast is very expensive if it is not part of the room rate, but the room service is very good value, with a Pizza costing about 12 Euros.
The hotel is outside both the main shopping area and the Trade fair area, but Dusseldorf has a very efficient public transport system, and there is a tram stop directly opposite the front of the hotel and it takes only about 5 minutes to reach the Altstadt, and costs about 2.10 Euros.
The hotel can sell you a single ticket, but there are machines at the tram stops that sell most other types of ticket.
The hotel is also very convenient for the airport, being about 10 minutes away by taxi, which costs about 12-13 Euros.
