We have just returned from the Likithos Apartments in St George South, Corfu.
After reading a lot of critical comments about Excelair, the flight operator, we were really worried about travelling with them. We flew from Newcaster Airport and had no trouble at all. Both inbound and outbound flights were on time and got us to the resort and also home earlier than scheduled.
The staff were also very friendly and attentive. Anyone who is travelling with Excelair should not worry. The complaints you may hear about must be isolated incidents as we found no faults with them.
The apartments themselves were excellent, clean and well maintained. All staff were very helpful and friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. The resort itself was not too large but not too small. We would definitely return to this resort and hotel again.

We have just returned from a great fortnight at Likithos. The place is beautifully kept; the maids & gardener working hard to keep the standards high. All of the staff are friendly & efficient. Great meals or snacks are available by the bar, which is a warm & friendly place to end the evening.
The pool area is great, and surprisingly large. The apartments are spacious & comfortable with balcony. Air conditioning is available at an extra charge.
All in all, I'd recommend Likithos to anyone, though I can't say the same about the resort itself, which was a big disappointment. The beaches are great, and there are good tavernas. The best of these is Malibu, above the Southern beach. Others we enjoyed were The Balcony, Makis, Panorama, Zaks & Spiros.
The main problem with St. Geroge is the proliferation of bars showing football. There was no escape from it. A lot of people we talked to said they wouldn't return & that was the main reason. However, Likithos is slightly outside the main resort so if you want a quiet holiday then it is perfect.
The pool area is great, and surprisingly large. The apartments are spacious & comfortable with balcony. Air conditioning is available at an extra charge.

As a young family embarking on our first foreign holiday with a toddler, our stay at the Likithos Apartments was wonderful. From the minute we arrived(we were shown to our room first having a baby) until we left we couldn’t have asked for better service.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful, even giving daily tips on places worth visiting. The apartments were spotless, daily maid service, who did a good job. The pool was child friendly, clean, and with lots of pool toys to play with.

The apartments are surrounded by garden’s even having a safe play area beyond the sun beds.

The food served at the bar was varied, and of a good standard, catering for children too. We even had room service one evening as our daughter had gone to bed early tired from all the swimming.

The whole holiday beat our expectations and we are already looking forward to going back next year.

The apartments are a little out of the way from the bars and restaurants but it's peaceful, safe and a very pleasant walk into town in the evening watching the sunset whilst you walk. A great place for a family holiday!!!!!!!!!!!!! <br>

The Likithos Apartments were spotlessly clean and had maid service every day the staff were friendly and accommodating the pool area was beautiful it’s everything you could want for a relaxing family holiday. The resort itself is fairly quiet with a few bars and restaurants although they are fairly spread out so remember your walking shoes!! There are a few supermarkets stocking most things you could want.

I wouldn’t recommend eating in the Likthos itself as the food isn't the best but we had some excellent meals on the sea front, which is only a 10-minute walk from the apartments. Would definitely go back here again.

Food great. We ate in the hotel itself and found a varied and interesting selection. Grounds well kept, lovely gardens and pool. Thoroughly enjoyed our week. Will return.
