We have visited Las Vegas for the last five years and in our opinion every adult should experience it at least once in a life time.
Last year we stayed in Terribles Hotel which is off the strip which allows for cheaper rates so more dollars in your pocket to spend. We found it to be very clean excellent staff very friendly and superb eating areas.
It has a nice pool and its own casino if you don’t want to go up on to the strip, if you do want to go to the strip its a nice walk or the bus route takes you straight up on to the strip. Overall good value for money.

Stayed at Terribles 2004. Worked out less expensive off Strip easy to get around by taxi if you worked out the road system it was quite cheap to get up to the strip if you were dropped at a Hotel/Casino on the nearest side of the road coming from Terribles and the same going back.
We walked down from the strip once and that was enough. Rooms were pretty good had all the usual facilities that you expect in an American hotel. There was a restaurant and a self service restaurant both reasonably good value. The reception although small was helpful in arranging various trips for us. The pool was nice and secluded in it's own gardens lots of trees for shade also a large Jacuzzi, loads of fresh towels, free
to use. There was a shop where you could get most necessities, coffee, hot chocolate cold drinks and not forgetting krispy kreme donuts (yummy).
The casino itself was small compared to the strip casinos but they are mega big. Only one roulette table and had to wait sometimes for a seat, but was worth it as I won. The odds were better than the bigger casinos and not as many restrictions i.e size of bet. Would definitely go back to Terribles.

This was our second visit to Las Vegas and we decided that staying off the strip would be better value for money. We weren't disappointed. The Terribles is great, with clean and comfortable rooms. There's a handy gift and coffee shop, the pool is lovely although it was a bit cold for swimming mid October.
The Strip is within easy walking distance (about 15 minutes) but most of the time we got taxis from outside the front entrance.
The casino is not huge but large enough and with plenty of variety of games and slots to entertain for hours, some evenings we didn't venture to the strip at all. We joined the Terribles Club and were given lots of 'two for the price of one' and other discount coupons. At the end of our stay, we cashed all our points in and got loads of free goodies such as Mugs, T shirts and other fun gifts.
The staff are friendly and helpful. We dined most evenings in the Hotel restaurant, which seemed better value than the buffet.
We will definitely stay there again! Highly recommended.
