Downtowner Motel

This was by far and by miles the WORSE place i have ever stayed in ANYWHERE IN THE WORLD. First of all the woman at the desk would not let meview any of the two rooms i was trying to book and i wish she had done so, because i would have NEVER have stayed here, even if they paid ME!!
It was obviously a kind of old folks home too as there were many old people there who were obviously there permanently as they wandered around mostly in their night wear, even in the lobby.
I was in room 24 on the ground floor and when i opened the door the first thing to hit me was the horrible smell in the room. I later discovered the smell was coming from what didnt pass as the fridge as it was leaking and there were white towels inside catching the thawed out water on the shelves. They were disgustingly smelly and when i went to close the fridge door again it FELL OFFF .Also the other give-away that it was really a place for old retired people was that there were cookers in every room. But it was the awaful smel;l of the room which will haunt my dreams for time to come.
When i woke in the morning i found i had inherited some pets. COCKROACHES!!! One of which was lying on its back on the sideboard dresser having a little snooze until i woke it up with the sole of my shoe. I had to chexk al of my luggage at the bus station later to make sure i had not carried any of these bugs with me on my way out of town.
I am going to write to the mayor of Las Vegas and ask him to visit this "motel" and see if he would recommend i come back to his city and spend another night there.
Do NOT ever go and stay in this place unless you are a wino who doesnt care where they slep or you are fond of God's little creatures who crawl around looking for somewhere to sleep. If they find somewhere it will probably be in YOUR bed in this fleapit of a place
