Courtyard Marriott Summerlin Hotel

Having been to Las Vegas many times, and stayed in many different places. We found this gem of a place and have not looked back since. We do tend to stay in many Marriott hotels, for us it’s a case of knowing exactly what you are going to get, wherever you are in the world, the hotels are similar. Some people perhaps do not like that but for my husband and myself we like knowing that the hotel will be at a certain standard.
The JW Resort at Summerlin in around 10 minutes drive from Las Vegas strip, it does have a small casino but it’s not in your face, and you do not have to walk through it to get to your room if you choose not to, multiple entrances with free valet parking, which is fab when it’s raining as those who have been to Las Vegas do know, or if it’s so hot you just want to get into the air-con as quick as possible.
The rooms even the cheapest, which are normally called quality rooms, are huge, with walk in wardrobes and huge bathrooms, with a real and proper bath. Not a sorry excuse for one, which many American hotels seem to have, and which should be more use as a shower tray.
The pool area is private and not overlooked from the outside, it’s a great location, quiet, and away from the hustle of the strip, but still close enough to be take what you want and leave the rest.
We love this hotel and have been back many times, go if you get chance, and if you can afford, treat yourself to one of their suites, they are special. My husband always wanted to see what was behind the double door hotel rooms, he got his chance here.
