My holiday was so brilliant me and my friends are definitely going back next year. I would recommend Tsokkos holiday apartments for young people who are looking for a good time but not for families as many people come in during all hours of the night and there is lots of noise.
The pools are lovely and clean and there is a pool bar which is open through the night and during the day it plays loud, good music. The bar staff are quality as well!
We were able to keep our money safe in the safety deposit boxes at reception and it is so easy to make friends- we got on with all our neighbours!
There is also air conditioning in the rooms so you can stay cool while you're getting ready at night. It is literally about 1 minute away from 'The Square' which is where all the clubs are and it is great.
There is also an after party jus down the road called Aqua club which everyone goes to when the clubs shut at like 4am and it is open for hours. It has a dance floor and an indoor and outdoor swimming pool. We left Aqua club at 7.30 am and ran down the road and jumped in our pool!
The holiday was really amazing and fun and Tsokkos was great!

This was the best holiday ever!
I arrived in these apartments on 23 August 2006 where I met 20+ of my family and friends who had flew out one week previous. I was greeted by the sounds of great tunes as I walked to my apartments and the atmosphere all around was buzzing!!
Our room was at the back of the building, which was great for privacy and unwanted noise pollution!! It was small and basic however very clean and the staff attended every day to tidy up and change the towels and bed linen!
The bar/restaurant was great. The food was simple enough, breakfast and just your usual snacks for through out the day. The one thing I will say is ‘they can make a great cocktail’ and their milkshakes!! whaw! And it stays open until after five in the morning (just in case you haven’t had enough booze on the town)!
Overall, everything was up to standard for all of us who thoroughly enjoyed every minute of this holiday!
NB This is not an apartment for families!!!!

This has to be the best holiday I have ever been on!
I would recommend it to anyone that wants to go on a typical group of girls/lads holiday as it will be everything u need!
The pool bar is 24 hour and is the perfect place to go when you come out of the clubs and still don’t want to sleep! And a great place to make friends.
We were in apartments 201 where the balcony faced straight out onto the pool area, so probably was one of the nosiest places to be staying, and it really isn’t that hard to sleep with the noise. The other people that complained about that on here must just be really fussy.
The apartments are pretty basic, but they have everything you need, the cleaners visit when they like. But when they did come they worked miracles on our room!
The pool area can get a bit messy, but it’s always spotless the next morning. Although I wouldn’t recommend taking young children as some of the behaviour that occurs around the pool isn’t suitable!
Unless you like listening to the same 2 cd’s for 14 days. I strongly recommend that you take your own cd’s for the bar staff to play. They don’t mind, as they are rather friendly.
Our rep was really helpful, but don’t be talked into going on the bar crawl if you travel with Thomas cook. It’s awful!
Altogether though it was a great holiday, 2 weeks wasn’t long enough!

Tsokkos holiday apartments is awesome!
Hoping to go back for a reunion with all my girlies next year! We went for 2 weeks and it was the best holiday I have ever been on.
The bar is open till 5 in the morning so when the clubs close the hotel is still jumping!!
If you want plenty of sleep when you get in from the clubs or want to stay in 1 night room 901 (my room) is not recommended. It’s over the main balcony in the pool and pool bar so you can hear every word being said, we loved it though!
The pool was packed and the entertainment was great!
Not recommended for families.
I recommend it for a girlies holiday u will love it! We did!

This holiday was fantastic; the resort was so close to everything (which saved a lot of money in taxi fare!). The cocktails were awesome.
Some of the staff are a bit rude on reception, but George and Peter behind the bar are great. Really friendly.
The apartments are basic but when you’re too drunk to care, it’s alright.
The pool is clean, well it seemed to be- and the atmosphere is great. Wouldn’t recommend resort at all for a family due to the fact, AYIA NAPA never sleeps.
If your 18-25 you will love it. Thomas cooks rep Jamie was very helpful and friendly. Word of warning, take loads of dollar as I found it very expensive out there.
Overall a great holiday and wonderful facilities- you really must go!

Jul 2007, Mr S Calder

I stayed at this accommodation with 7 other young adults (19 & 20 years old) and we all had a blast! Before I start describing the accommodation, I have to warn you: this accommodation is not suitable for families and quiet couples at all.
When I first arrived outside my apartment, there were pieces of broken glasses everywhere right outside the door, which was not a good start as it made us paranoid about what could be lying on the floor inside the apartment (or on our beds…).
However, the accommodation was really nice and spacious and the air-conditioning was fantastic – it turned the apartment into a fridge throughout my holiday which was just what I needed during a heat wave in Ayia Napa (one day it was over 50 degree Celsius!). The cleaner came every day and even cleaned the room while we were asleep!
There is a 22-hour bar and restaurant (6am – 4am!) daily at the main swimming pool and the bar staff were ever so friendly and cheerful! The location of the apartments was just perfect – only a five-min walk from the clubbing area but not too near to be distracted by the noise.
The nearest beach was not very sandy but that didn’t stop us exploring other local beaches (Three Tree figs is only a ten-min walk and the Nissi beach is only a short bus ride). I would recommend you to explore other towns and villages (Paralimni and Protaras) to experience the Greek/ Cypriot culture.
I would come back here again if I wanted a good, cheap holiday with young adults.

Jul 2007, Miss J Hamersley

I and 5 other girls have just returned from the Tsokkos Apartments.
The rooms were basic, but clean and we had a cleaner come in every other day to change the towels and bedding etc. We opted for the Studio rooms which slept 3 people. 2 single beds in the bedroom and 1 sofa bed.
The wardrobe space was adequate; however they could have been a bit cleaner! Lol.
We had a balcony, kitchenette, and plenty of appliances. The rooms in Block 8 all came with a/c. I think if you book with First Choice you automatically get the a/c.
The pool area was very nice, 2 pools - good size. Plenty of things going on throughout the day - definitely for the 18-30's though. Wouldn't recommend the Apartments for families or couples. Some rude games, swearing etc. But fun for people in their twenties like us!
Overall we was very pleased with the accommodation - there is also a 24hr reception and safety deposit boxes available. You will also find payphones and internet access.
The poolside bar was 24hrs too and always had people there, bit more expensive than the supermarket over the road though!
Would definitely recommend the Tsokkos for groups of girls/boys who are looking for a fun holiday to Napa.

Fantastic! We were overlooking the pool and facing the bar, and the noise was never an issue, literally less than 5mins from the main square.
Pool was nice, staff were nice, and food was nice, drinks were very reasonable. My group was 18yr old girls, and the majority of people there were 18-30 year olds although a few families, but I wouldn’t recommend families.
Excellent accommodation, although we didn’t use the air con as it appeared expensive, so we hired fans for £3 per week from the shop over the road which were good.

I have just returned from our well...

Jun 2007, Miss E Grimmond

I have just returned from our well deserved break to the lovely island of Cyprus. This was going to be our fourth visit to the island.
There were 4 adults in our group aged 18 - 25. We were staying at these apartments for 14 nights from the 6th June 2007. We were advised that these apartments were lively but would be suitable for a family/couple.
We arrived at 2 am to no electricity and were told to wait until the morning until the "handyman" arrived and was able to fix it. We were far too exhausted to argue and accepted his excuse.
In the morning we were able to fully view our apartment and I must say it was pretty good for the £400 per person we had paid. The pool area was really clean and there were lots of sunbed spaced.
When the sun went down that’s when the fun started. We went out on the first night and arrived back around 3am. We found that the pool bar was open (it’s a 24hour bar) and was extremely busy. Unfortunately we had rooms 516 and 517 which overlooked the pool area and faced the bar.
The noise did not stop until at least 8 - 9am and this happened every night we were there. Trust me when you try to sleep in 25 degree heat without the windows open it’s virtually impossible, especially when it smells like something has died in your air conditioning.
We went to the reception the following morning and were advised that there was nothing they could do; the apartments were a lively complex. The final straw came the following night when I was woken up around 4 am to screaming and laughing, I went to the balcony for a view of what was happening and I was appalled.
There was a line of boys urinating on the sunbeds, around and in the pool, on the tables and chairs. There was a couple in the pool, and a group of blokes having a punch up. And all of this was watched by the security guard.
There was also the constant ringing of our doorbell, knocking on the door and the nightly "laundry bin races" in the corridor.
In the morning we complained to the rep and ordered that we were moved. He offered us the "new block" of apartments across the road that was empty and would be much calmer. I’m not bloody surprised; by new he meant that nobody had stayed in them for years. It was minging; I gave him the key and told them we wanted moving out of this hellhole.
We were eventually moved to the Evabelle hotel but that’s another story altogether...
Anybody going here this year, please hold on to your socks and get ready for a ride!!

Wow, this really was an amazing holiday; we went as a group of 7 girls! So I would say it is perfect for groups!
The Tsokkos holiday apartments are a great place to stay, the hotel is lively, clean and very good value for money. There is one large size swimming pool, one medium size swimming pool and one small swimming pool.
The nightlife is very lively; we went to pretty much all the bars and clubs. I would definitely recommend the castle club, carwash and starskys and for bars senior frogs, Craig’s karaoke, sky bar, bedrock inn.
We also visited the water park which again is very good value for money and an excellent day out.
For food: try any of the Chinese restaurants, our favourite place for breakfast was Gary’s.
I would recommend ayia napa - Cyprus.

May 2007, Miss K Smith

This was a last minute holiday; however, I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel is very basic but location wise is amazing, close to the main bar street, shops and not too far away from the beach.
Definitely an 18/30 holiday, as most of the entertainment is aimed at that age group.
If you want a fun holiday this is the place to be, the staff are really friendly, they play all up to date tunes, and also play games around the pool.
We really enjoyed the holiday so much we have booked for next year!
If you are looking for a quiet family holiday, this is not the place to be.

This hotel is amazing, if you are a large group going for a mad holiday.
You are in the centre of everything, just around the corner from the main nightlife 5mins walk.
Shops are very close to the hotel as well. Hotel staff are fine although our fridge was broke and had no knifes or forks.
Apart from that a top hotel.
