We have just returned from a week long stay here. 2 adults and kids aged 8 and 10. We booked a tent with eurocamp and flew ryan air to verona brescia airport. Firstly the airport. It is tiny! which was brilliant as we were the only flight so the baggage was instant! We... more

Just returned from Bella Italia, I have 2 daughters aged 11 & 5 and the park has something for all of them. Play areas, bouncy castles, trampolines, arcade, kids club and entertainment every night, (apart from when the football was on). We stayed in a mobile home... more

Bella Italia campsite is situated on Lake Garda just near Peschiera, lots of facilities and the on-site restaurants are really good. The local scenery is breathtaking. Lots to do if you are on your own, in a couple, or with family. Water sports, bicycle hire, boat trips,... more

We stopped at Bella Italia 23-30 Sep 2006 in a Bungalow Olendro (2 bungalows for 4 adults and 1 infant). Which on first impressions was quite basic but spacious but once you got used to it we really appreciated it and were very comfy. a small living area with dining table... more

Fantastic setting, and a great park. Even better than we'd expected. Eurocamp staff were very helpful and attentive. Other parc staff were very energetic with kids clubs and shows every day! The accommodation (Venezia) was a bit tight for 6 of us but the other families of 4... more

My husband, our 2 girls (ages 5 and 7), and I spent 1 week in this campsite from 12th-19th August this year. It is a super campsite and the location is spectacular. We stayed in a Bungalow, very close to the largest swimming pool. The bungalow was clean, bright and... more

This is a huge campsite, so it really depends what you're looking for. It's very busy, quite noisy but with loads of facilities. The animation programme is extensive, which is good for kids and the evening shows are quite professional. It's impossible to get round the... more

A lovely place to stay
We stayed in the "Bella Italia" campsite (with Eurocamp). We have an 8 year old boy and a 6 year old girl, so activities were based on keeping them entertained! The campsite was big but lovely. The 2 restaurants were very good, one having views over the lake. Facilities on the park were excellent. The pools did get a bit busy late afternoon, but there were planty of them, catering for different standards of swimming. Location wise it couldn't be better. Right on the shores of the lake, within a short lakeside walk to Peschiera, from which you could hire a boat or go on a ferry (neither of which we did) and get a train to Venice (a 2 hour journey and definitiely worth it, even with young children!). Gardaland (amusement park) is very near and is very good. It is big enough to spend the whole day there and feel as if you have got your money's worth. It is definitely worth paying the extra for the dolphin show! Also near by is a complex with Movieland and a water park. Movieland was a bit of a disappointment (having done similar things in America, it was a a bit weak, and all the narratives were in Italian, which is understandable but frustrating for us typical English tourists expecting to hear everything in English!), but the Water park was quite good. All in all we had a very enjoyable stay at Lake Garda. It was our first stay in Italy and we would definitely go back.
