" Stayed here for 2 nights on a city... "

Stayed here for 2 nights on a city break. The hotel is in a good location for exploring Berlin, with a well used bus stop just opposite the hotel entrance, where all the "city tour" buses stop.
Our room was in a newly refurbished part of the hotel and was very modern and bright. Despite requesting a Double bed we had twins, not ideal with a toddler. The air conditioning was also turned off, and the rooms got very warm during the night.
The hotel occupies a city block, and looks very different from each side, with an amazing mural on the entrance side.
We paid for breakfast both days as it wasn't part of our booking; I was really looking forward to it, but it wasn't fantastic. Took an age for a waiter to come and ask us what we wanted to drink, both days after 5 minutes we just asked someone walking past. There was a large convention on in Berlin, so the hotel and restaurant was very busy.
We did enjoy our stay, and the Hotel Berlin was adequate, but with a bit more care and attention would have been much more.
If you are considering the city tour buses, try just using the normal no.100 bus as it seems to cover all the main attractions and is much more frequent. It will save you a few Euros!
