Classy campsite

Although extremely large and very busy one of the best campsites we have been too with terrific facilities, fantastic beach, swimming complexes and very clean and hygenic sanitary facilities. Accommodation bit pricey but all very well managed and secure.

This is the 25th year that my famimly has been coming to this fantastic campsite and my grandparents for even longer. It is a large safe site, with a fantastic beach and pool complexes. The restaurants offer various regional dishes and there are many bars throughout the site. As well as all this the site also has some very good evening entertainment....want more? Hows about a small shopping mall which offers clothing, gifting, Beauty, shoes and my favoutite Jewellery! Union Lido caters for all age groups and you can have any type of holiday that you want, for the more active there is a fitness club and water sports, for those more inclined for a relaxing holiday there is the Marino wellness spa or if you are like me just take your book and lie on the beach!
I have been to many other Campsites over the years and nothing ever lives up to Union Lido, it truly is like going home!

We went to union lido this year and it was the worst holiday ever had while the park itself is clean and well maintained it is for people who like camping or caravaning. In self catering you have to rent towels and sheets and they do not provide any maid service.
We had two teenage girls and there was nothing for them to do only entertainment was a modeling school which in this day and age is laughable, most of the the people staying at the campsite did not speak English. Even though it boasts of having eight restaurants they all serve the same food and unless you rent a car there is nothing around you for miles.
Everything and i mean everything closes down at 11pm at night and trip to Venice on bus and ferry cost 70euro so expensive for public transport and far too crowded to be enjoyed.
We will never return do not go to this campsite if you have teenagers.

We won this holiday for joining this organisation thing, I went with my family and we loved it was the best holiday ever. Great weather, lovely beach and sea, and great shopping facilities, good transport. Everything you need for a excellent holiday would definitely recommend this holiday, but go about May/June as the wetaher reaches scorching temperatures and make sure you take fly repellent and fly itching cream you'll need it. But the site does provide this fly spot thing that is great and we still use it now in England. Happy holidays.

Fantastic holiday with two small children. Plenty to do on site: two large pool areas, lovely sandy beach, park , children’s club, very friendly staff, excellent security, quiet in the evenings. Venice easily accessible but not buggy friendly!
Will definitely go back, possibly with different camping company as the reps were very young and inexperienced, though the jubilee mobile was plenty big, with great cooking facilities.

We are a family of 6 and have just returned from a fantastic holiday in Union Lido
Camp site. It is a lovely clean but large site. The beach was great, the pools were good I would say they are mainly aimed at younger children rather than teenagers as quite shallow, but lazy river was lots of fun for all of us.
Beware - swimming caps must be worn in the pools, you can get away with a bandana or a baseball cap but heads must be covered in the swimming pools. We ate lots of pizza onsite which was delicious and great value at only about 8 euros for a huge family pizza, all the prices on site in the supermarkets and shops were very reasonable.
We had a brilliant day out at the Aqualandia water park, you can get the bus there directly outside campsite and it really is a great day out - they claim to have the world’s highest slide there. Took the bus to Punta Sabiona where you can catch a waterbus direct to Venice and had a wonderful day there. You can buy a 24hour ticket which allows you on and off the waterbuses as much as you like, and it’s a great way to see the Grand Canal and travel about, I don’t think they go down the side canals though - think you need a water taxi for those.
Also, if you are making your own way from the airport to the site I can thoroughly recommend info@lowcostaxi.net I found them online and used them it cost me 220 euros round trip for 6 of us in their Mercedes people carrier - but it was great service
from them both ways, and another family I spoke to made their own way from their airport but bus / water taxis but found that it was quite a bit of hassle with luggage and
it cost them around 100+ euros for 5 of them each way so about 200 euros , so would recommend the taxi if you want hassle free transport to site.
