We have visited the Parc Interlude on four occasions, twice with Canvas, once using the campsites own accommodation and once camping with our own tent and we have always enjoyed our stay. Once you let the Ile De Re get under your skin you need regular fixes and this campsite is the perfect base to explore the island from. The beach the campsite backs onto is clean, big, sandy and licked with the bracing waves of the Atlantic, not great for small children but competent swimmers will have fun. The sites own pools are acceptable. The outdoor is not heated so if the sun isn't out few people go in. The indoor pool is clean but small.
As for the rest of the island St Martin is a 20 min cycle away (don't drive around the island you will miss it true charm) and well worth a visit as is Le Flotte and Ars on Re. But the best thing about the island is jumping on your bike and discovering the pretty towns, harbors and of course great cuisine.
