After reading some of the reviews about the Sol Apartments, we were a bit worried and went with an open mind. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised at how clean and spacious they were. The only complaint was the beds. They were uncomfortable. The kitchen was small, but had everything we needed. We had no intention of doing any cooking anyway. having just read the honeymooning couples review and staying there at the same time, i have to agree we booked a family of 3 and an elderly friend, to stay self catering, we left our travel kettle home because of this to find we had two cooking rings and a few pots and pans, we did manage to cook to find that the cutlery was hot as the drawer was below the rings. there was no kids entertainment, although the original ad said there was, and the pool was full of sun cream as one mother smothered her daughters hair in the stuff, ok she didnt... more
the holiday was great the apartment was not from azzazzi
we have just reterned from a week honey mooning at the sol apartments. The area was nice just a shame about the apartments! the bath looked like it had never been cleaned and you had to hire kettle and toasters 7.50 euros plus a deposit you only get a sauce pan witch we used as a kettle as i refused to pay for them. we ate out all the time with good food nearby at Ferraris Bar and the swan inn the pool was only cleaned once while we where there even after it had being done there was still stuff floating about in it we... more

Myself and my family spent a week at sol apartments and i am struggling to fault the place. As stated in other reviews the rooms are fairly basic but clean with maid service and clean towels most days. There is a safe available in the room for a small deposit and a fridge and cooker. The pool is fairly small but is very clean with a smashing poolside bar for those cold beers!. Well, landed this morning, 0355 into MIA, and I am sad. I had a great holiday!! The Sol is about 20 minuties away from the airport so not too bad. Stayed at the Sol for the past 2 weeks, along with hubby and 2 teenage kids, aged 12 and 13, and we all had a good time. We returned this evening from a week long stay in the Apartments Sol in Costa Teguise, Lanzarote. The apartments are set over three levels in a small complex. The apartments are quite spacious for 2 but would be cramped for 4 as there is a sofa bed and truckle bed in the lounge. The kitchen facilities were basic but adequete with cutlery, crockery and pans provided. If you want luxury and lots of facilities this is not for you. We booked to go to Sol Apartments in Lanzarote in April, after booking the holiday we read some of the review about it and wondered what we had let ourselves in for. Well, I have to say it was brilliant; the apartment was very clean and had every thing we required for our stay. Yes you do have to hire toasters and kettles but this is only a deposit, which you get back when you leave. I have just returned from a 2 week stay at the Sol Apartments, Costa Teguise. It was a very enjoyable family holiday, (I have two demanding teenagers). Costa Teguise is a fairly quiet resort. Despite it being mid summer, it seemed to be only half occupied. There are a lot of bars and restaurants but many of them were not very busy and some almost completely empty. I have just came back from a 2 week holiday at the sol apartments. We had our exact same room as our last time we stayed at sol which was, 113. Although we did request it beforehand. Me and my girlfriend consider this to be the best room in the appartment block as its ground floor, balcony looks right onto the pool and is about 15-20ft from the pool, so no having to go a big walk if suntanning around the pool and you want to get something from inside. Holidays are often to a large degree affected by your expectations. Unfortunately, although our expectations of Sol Apartments were low, they were not low enough.
