Mobile home accommodation was, as is usual with Eurocamp, clean and well-maintained. The couriers were available, without being intrusive.
The parc has a wide range of facilities, but these tended to vary in standard. The pools are quite small, so can become crowded. They are also unheated, rather surprising in this relatively northerly area. Even in July days can be chilly.
Areas of the pool side had been allowed to get dangerously slippery with algae growth. The footbath entering the pool area was very dirty, and the outflow appeared to be blocked.
The mini-golf was poorly maintained, but children’s play equipment was OK, though for the growing site they need more play areas.
The bar seemed very disorganised, so long queues can be expected at busy periods.
The restaurant food is good quality, though they offer only a limited range.
In general the site is well-run with the exceptions noted above. The surroundings are good for walking or cycling, and the parc is generally quiet in the late evenings, apart from some local tearaways gunning their motorbikes.
It is in a good location for touring the Loire region, and has easy access to the local towns of Blois and Tours for sightseeing and shopping.
