Great time to be had for families....

Great time to be had for families. Our room was a little small and the bathroom needed badly updating.
The complex is fab though and very clean. The onsite restaurants sell great food - again very reasonable. Not bad prices in the shops and boutiques. There is a lovely market selling local goods on a Wednesday which is interesting. A pub/bar also shows some sport.
Very strict life guards around the pool. No shoes to be worn in the pool area at any cost and the same goes for food and drink!
Beware of the hidden extras i.e. car parking costs and tourist tax
We had fab meals out, day trips to St Tropez and Monaco and buckets loads of fab food and wine.
Not too long a drive from Nice Airport - about 1 hour
If you aren't too fussy about your accommodation but want a fab need setting then this is the place for you.

After traveling down the length of France, we finally reached the French Riviera at approx 6pm. We then had to negotiate the local traffic in St Raphael, in blazing sunshine. Finally we found the road that the campsite was situated on, but we drove up and down for approx 1/2 hour with no luck of finding the site. Eventually we saw a local tourist information board which pointed out exactly where to find the site.
On arrival, we booked into reception, which was a basic registration and then they contacted the keycamps rep to escort us to our caravan. The caravans are situated on sheer terraces, which look gorgeous, but are very impractical. It's a good job are car is diesel, otherwise I don't think we would have made it up the vertical incline, especially as we were fully laden.
The caravan itself was clean and exactly as was stated in the brochure. The situation of the pitch was a little disappointing because there were only approx 6 caravans on our terrace, all with the outside areas away from each other, so there was no passing chit chat.
We had to climb approx 50 steps to gain access to the bar, shop and swimming pools. This site is definitely not for the disabled, although once at the amenities it is flat ground. All the amenities were as stated in the brochure, although my teenage children were disappointed with the water slide as it was for small children only.
My only negatives about the site were the steepness of the terraces and the ants, which I suppose is to be expected in a dry, hot environment.
The local area is excellent, although can be pricey, so be prepared to picnic! We visited St Tropez, Monaco, Cannes, St Raphael and many more. There was so much that we were unable to do, that we intend to return this year, albeit to a different site for a change, but with the same company.
Overall a thoroughly enjoyable holiday.

Booked this campsite in January 2005...

Booked this campsite in January 2005 for a “large site”
two months later received a e-mail stating that we were double booked and would have to be placed on another site I checked if this site would be suitable for our caravan/awning/annex and was told it was it was beside the site they had previously given us and would be suitable .
When we arrived to site well it was the size of a postage stamp we couldn’t even put our table and chairs outside the awning and just about got our car on site. approx six foot before encroaching on the next door site. What annoyed us most that in the time we were there five other families partook of the site we had been previously allocated over the 17 nights we were there.
No deduction for smaller sites some other sites housed a caravan awning two cars and a boat. It was annoying to think that we paid the same price as them.
Quite hilly many caravans had to get pulled out by a tractor or if they made an attempt to go by themselves you could smell the clutches burning out.............. Definitely this site being classed as a four star site needs to review its pricing and size of sites. Caravans are much bigger now than when this campsite first started 30 years ago.
Toilet blocks/ takeaway/ shop very good facilities. Pool complex very crowded for amount of people there in July.
