We've just returned from this campsite having spent the last two weeks there. The campsite itself is lovely with plenty of pool space (and loads of sunbeds). The beach is also lovely. We had great service from the Eurocamp/Keycamp reps - work close together. The kids also... more

Stayed in Les Sablons for 12 nights July 08. Weather was fantastic - over 30 every day but all days but 1 had a lovely breeze. Pool complex lovely, very clean, lifeguards aplenty! Felt they could have policed the aqua games on the slide a bit better as those sliding down... more

Excellent facilities but . . .
We booked our holiday here with Keycamp staying in a Villanova. First impressions on arrival were a bit off-putting as the pool was absolutely mobbed with people and you have to drive past it as you get in. Campsite is large - nearly 800 pitches, the pools are not large enough for this number of people and you have to be down there early to get sunbeds which is to be expected. Beach, which has direct access from site, is fabulous and very safe. Campsite has loads of excellent facilities, a full entertainments programme catering for everybody. Every night between 9 and 9.30 they put a childrens disco on and their animation team lead the dancing which the kids really enjoy. But every night this disco was hijacked by much older 'children' - 18++ when a particular song came on. The animation team led the smaller children in a conga for this song and the older ones also made their own. Its hard to explain the resulting chaos but suffice to say that it was dangerous, smaller children were seperated from the right chain and I witnessed several near misses of the larger ones nearly knocking the smaller ones over. Several people, including myself, complained to the management about this, there was loads of entertainment for young adults which went on till 2 in the morning - the little ones only got 30 mins and it seemed really unnecessary to allow them to disrupt it in this fashion. The management agreed with me that it was dangerous but then did nothing about stopping it - they even continued to play this song every night which seemed bizarre. There is supposed to be quiet and no driving on campsite after midnight but this is not enforced either and campsite can be quite noisy. Also to cap it all off the mobile home opposite us had been let to a group of 8 young adults who sadly couldn't hold their alcohol and would vomit in the night on their pitch! Language barrier made it difficult but I think they got the gist of my displeasure! All in all though we had a very enjoyable holiday, bakery on site is great. Keycamp kids club reps were excellent and both children really enjoyed going to Leo's with them. The quality of the entertainment after 9.30pm was good, one band called Patchwork played twice while we were there and were excellent. Next year I may look for a slightly quieter campsite but wouldn't hesitate to go back to the same region again.
