Stayed here in August 2006 after problems with another site. Just turned up and found them very helpful. Two families travelling together and they managed to find us space together.
Swimming pool complex is great , toilet blocks kept clean although it was high season so very busy. Very good launderette, friendly staff.
Evening entertainment good, the Disney show was great for the kids. As the site has direct access to the beach in was like having two holidays in one, camping and beach life.
Only a short walk to the shops and bars for a stroll in the evening although we could hear the noise from the bars on our pitch the security was excellent on site and this did not cause us too much worry. Kids loved it here, only problem is that the do not accept advanced bookings but we will defiantly be back, great holiday!

Our nephew organised the best holiday we've ever had. Eleven of us flew in to Carcazonne from Prestwick. (Ages 60 - 9years old.) Spent the day in the old walled city before making our way in hired cars to campsite. Reception staff speak fluent english. Booking in took about 10mins. Note - you have to make an appointment before the end of your stay to have your accommodation checked over before you leave. 55 euros to have someone else clean it! Make sure you leave enough time to have check and get to airport on time. Checks don't start until 8.30am and take 5mins each. We cut it close!!!!
All three chalets were immaculate. 3 bed in bali, with air con. 2 bed in Louisianne (Ours) and a 1 bed in Mobi. The only complaint would be that the mobi is tiny, best for a couple on their own as there seems to be less storage and the table takes up a lot of room. Check your inventory, a few things were missing, but no problem for reception to have replaced....rather than paying for missing things! Pillows in France are square but will fit into our slips. No Kettles, we boiled water on the cooker. Comfy beds!!!
The site facilities are exceptionally good. Everywhere is clean. Sprinkler system irrigates and cleans during the night, take in your washing or it will get wet again. Even the refuse area is cleaner than some hotels!
My husband didn't sleep well as we didn't have air con, I slept like a top! Air con next time! Also noise first thing in the morning from shop.
We didn't see much of the entertainment, basically some of the staff singing and dancing, I think? The bar is a bit pricey but the bar staff are friendly and efficient.
You must wear trainers in the fitness centre, (Sponge Bob Square Pants in Jesus Sandals was politely asked to leave.) Four of our party used the spa for an hour, cheap and very good.
We were in the heated swimming pool at some point every day, thankfully the men in our party didn't have to were speedoes!! Swimming shorts were acceptable. As it was fairly quiet there was plenty sunbeds and room in the pool.
Bakery every morning for fresh croissants! Excellent (if pricey) kebabs for bbq at butchery.
Upstairs restaurant was very good, worth paying a wee bit extra. Exceptional service - what the French are famous for. We found if we ordered a full meal anywhere, we were brought free bread and water.
Free library, in all languages, left by previous holiday makers. Internet 2-3 euro for 15mins, got cheaper the longer you booked it for.
All the telephone booths (on site and off) use phone cards, not money. Buy these at the tobbaconists in the ice cream parlour at the bottom of the road. Took us three days to find this out!!!!
Public transport was non existant, didn't actually see one bus the entire week!
Vias Plage was basically closed but excellent bakers and some restaurants and stores still open.
On Sunday we wanted a late lunch, but all eateries, including on site, closed by 2.30 til 6.30pm.
On site, absoloutly no noise from 10pm - 7.00am, we were told off one night, but it's hard to keep eleven Scots quiet at any time of the day!!!! We did try, but the walls are paper thin and even talking could be heard from the units on either side!!
On Saturday night (well 1.00am) we could hear drums out on the street, we followed the sound to La Tasca. There were all kinds of drums and drummers, we even got to join in! Make-shift bar in the lane. Great atmosphere. Don't know if this was an every Saturday night thing or end of season get-together, either way, fantastic.
Most of the surrounding attractions were either closed or had moved to weekends only. Best check before you go if this is going to make a difference to your holiday. We still managed mini golf in Cap d'Agde, (Beside Theme Park, - closed!) Go-Karts on way to Agde. Scuba diving in Cap d'Agde, out to the sea, Kids too.
All markets are closed by 12.30am , get there early or you've wasted a trip. Cap d'Agde market on Saturday morning is huge.
Mosquitoes - take repellant! I was eaten alive for the first time ever! However some of the party only got bit on the last night due to leaving a window open.
Brush up on your school French! Not all French speak english, why should they? No fry ups, (big bonus as we didn't put on too much weight!) but the best cuisine in the world instead. We found most prices on a par with home.
Home to dreary old Scotland, already looking into booking up for next year. Can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!
