The pool is good apart from the fact that there is absolutely no shade, which I consider to be a serious omission, particularly if you have small children. the lifeguards are also somewhat strict and 'jobsworths'.
Apart from the non-wearing of swim shorts (common in France), you were shot if you so much as took a ball or inflatable into the pool! Also there is the usual problem of people putting towels on beds first thing but not turning up until after lunch. the odd standoff did however provide some enjoyable entertainment!
Otherwise the site seemed to be very well run, clean and pretty quiet after 11.
The resort was somewhat limited as far as restaurants and shops were concerned. All the local beaches were fantastic although the sea was rather dangerous.
All in all an enjoyable holiday.

Fantastic area, pool great BUT the tiles by the waterslide are soooo slippy - saw at least 8 kids with bandages and grazes as a result of falling over.
Pool only opens at 10am and there is a big queue to get in (remember the British concept of queuing is very British and not European).
Blokes cannot use the pool using other than Speedo-style tight fitting swimming costumes - no shorts, Bermudas etc.
Restaurant ok, take away pizzas good value, bar prices acceptable, loads of choices outside of the camp.
Beach huge (as are the waves and the fortress Europe gun emplacements that don’t make the tourist photographs)
Forest huge with well laid-out cycle paths.
Red squirrels and rabbits abound, well sheltered and well spaced-out mobile homes (the yelloh ones are anyway - Haven etc are squashed in rather more).

Keycamp mobile home was standard size with decking, pitches were well spaced and had a good mix of sunshine and shading by trees.
Keycamp advertised Funstation activities but did not organise any activities - however a well equipped 'Station' with lots of sport and activity equipment helped some parents entertain their kids. The rate of destruction from the unsupervised kids means there won't be much left by the mid season.
Site is used by a broad range of European - UK, Ireland, NL, Germany, Spain, France, Belgium and has a relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Pleasant bar, entertainment and (limited) restaurant good for the family.
Pool was unsupervised except at weekends and no sign of overzealous lifeguards - lots of inflatables and wet suits (the sea breeze can be very chilling).
Beaches and lakes in the short range are good - but high waves and wind at the beaches.
Beware if arriving late - the guard didn't answer the bell and the Keycamp reps had disappeared. Happened more than once from the conversations with other visitors. At least the pot plants by the gate could be shifted to let us drive in without the guard!
