My wife, 2 children (ages 18 months and 5) and I from Chester spent 9 nights with Keycamp in a VillaNova mobile home at camping La Baie. Travelling there is straightforward with St. Malo just 130 miles away
The location adjacent to 2 sandy beaches together with the meticulous maintenance of the park and the quality of the accommodation, make this a superb choice for a seaside family holiday. The pitch that we were allocated was surrounded by hedges and offered a private area for eating and for the children to play safely.
The close proximity of the picturesque village of La Trinite Sur Mer, which is a short walk away down the coastal path, and with Carnac Plage a short drive away there is a wide choice of reasonably priced restaurants.
There is an abundance of walks outside of the site, and a small shop/takeaway and restaurant across the road.
The only slightly disappointing aspect of the park was the swimming pool, which is too small for the size of the park. I assume the owners are relying on the beaches to compensate for this.
The price of eating out is cheaper then the UK as are the supermarkets. As this was our second holiday with Keycamp in 2007 the price was a very competitive £650, including the western channel ferry supplements.
In summary I would recommend this park as ideal for a young family who value a beautiful and tranquil location.
