This is the first time my family had been caravaning in France together so I was a little unsure what to expect. However Des Menhirs was lovely, a real treat. The facilities were wonderful for the children although I did struggle with the limited opening times. Everything, with the exception of the outdoor pools closed between 1 and 6, this did include the site shop, bar and water slides.
My 6 year old discovered the kids club on the penultimate day which he loved and wished he'd used from the begining and my 20 month old was over the moon with the childrens play park.
The reps were vey helpful and even though they were evidently busy they responded to left notes and telephone calls quickly.
The resort of Carnac is lovely and really geared towards families. There is a little amusement area and busy Ice Cream Parlours as well as kids beach clubs on the sea front.
All in all I would recomend both the site and the resort.

I had a great time here in July 07.
The mobile home was lovely and clean although we had nowhere to go upon arrival and had to wait for about 3hrs while the reps were busy. Reps were helpful.
The weather was lovely for about 6 of the 14 days! The rest it was just average!
I would recommend this! It was brill!

Dear Sirs
We have returned only recently from our holiday in Camping des Menhirs, Carnac Plage and write to say how very much we enjoyed our stay. My two granddaughters almost lived in the swimming pools and we all enjoyed walks in and around the districts, including Qiberon.
I especially mention Julie Wright, the Eurocamp representative who was very, very helpful and kind to us, dealing with the only problem, which arose (loss of water) by explaining the reason and also getting back to us with a progress report. The water was soon restored and Julie went off cheerfully on her bike, her smile and friendliness on show. She is an excellent ambassador for the company.

The park was clean. staff freindly. Only problem limited entertainment to one bar so not good in evenings.
