Tondoris Apartments

We visited Tondoris Appartments in Sidari in June 2010.
We found these apartments to be excellant, very clean and modern, the staff were lovely,very friendly and helpful and the pool and pool area were fantastic. We ate out every day and found the restaurants and food to be of a very high standard especially if you go Greek rather than eating the usual burger and chips etc. The best restaurant by far in Sidari is The Three Little Pigs, where not only could you get a delicious meal and wine for a very reasonable price but also have some traditional greek dancing for entertainment before walking 5 minutes around the corner to the main strip where all the bars are. Here there are numerous bars with tribute acts,music,quizes etc and then most nights we rounded off the evening with a sing song at the karaoke bar One for the Road bar at the top end of the strip. This was by far the friendliest bar in the whole resort, the owner was very welcoming and remembered you every night and what your tipple was.Free nibbles for everyone and even on one afternoon when we popped in for a soft drink to avoid the blistering heat he remembered us and served us with some cake that his "Mama" had made, and introduced us to her. All in all we had a fabulous holiday in Sidari, so much so that we are going back again this year to the Tondoris and we cant wait. We would recommend these apartments and this resort every time.

Spent a week at the Tondoris Apartments and enjoyed every minute.
Apartment was basic but spotlessly clean and was surprisingly spacious. Everyone (especially Stephan) at the Tondoris was extremely friendly and did everything to ensure an enjoyable stay.
Several great beaches within walking distance and a wide variety of restaurants to choose from, all pretty good value.
Sidari was a good place for a family holiday and I would not hesitate to stay again at the Tondoris apartments.

Just spent two weeks in the Tondoris, 18th-2nd July. As per the other reviews I can only praise the Place, twe had a two bedroom appartment which was one of the nicest rooms I have had in Sidari, quite modern and very well maintained. Nice Balcony and spotless.
As usual in Greece the bathrooms are basic but it did the job. The kitchen had a very small stove with 3 small rings but we managed to cook basic stuff as required. Only one pan and a small frying pan. No tin opener but I asked the staff and they were instantly provided.
The Planet Bar is nice with a decent array of drinks, a new menu was done halfway through a=our stay which was very nice. The breakfast was 5Euros which was nice but you could get it for 3 or 4euros down the lane. The local beer was 2euros but was rather bland, I prefered the bottled Mythos which as usual was great but 3euros. The bar was rather expensive but everywhere was much more expensive than the last 2 visits I made to sidari.
The staff were great Stefan and co really tried hard and nothing was to much trouble. The maids did a great job, fresh towels twice a week including a tea towel which is a first for greece. Linen changed at the same time.
The only thing to watch was the mosquitoes in the bar, use plenty of spray and make sure you use the local tablets in your machines not ones from boots.
If you look on Google or First Choices website they show this hotel in the dea center of Sidari, it's not!. It is actualy at the Canal De mour side about 300 yards from Marias bar which is on the beach. It is still a very handy location but a 10-12 minute walk from the dead center of the resort but had the advantage of being very quite. The Canal Beach is 5 minutes and the main beach 8 mins walk all flat but the pavements are as usual poor.
I would certainly return here one of the best places in Sidari.

This was our 3rd year at the Tondoris and it did not fail to give us another great value holiday. All the staff are really friendly and accommodating and they adore children. The location is near enough to walk into the main strip with all the big restaurants and bars but far enough away not be to disturbed by noise at night. There is entertainment every night with Stu and Chris and the swimming pool is to die for, clean, big and deep at one end. Plenty of sunbeds to choose from around the pool, so no need to get up early to put your towel down! The snacks at the Planet Bar which is part of the Tondoris is goodf value for money and well cooked with a variety of food to choose from. This time Stefan the barman had a buy one get one free on his special cocktails, they make you sleep well is all I can say, they are fantastic!!
We would recommend these apt to anyone, you will have a great time and be made to feel very welcome. The apts are spacious but typically Greek in facilities such as cutlery and cookware, not that you need to do much cooking as all the restaurants in Sidaari are good. We have not had a bad meal in all the years we have been going. Looking forward to returning for a 4th year in 2010!

i went with 9 friends and a little one!! we all had an amazing time!! linen waschanged every other day which we found useful. the balcony was just amazing!!! so big! the planet bar was very welcoming and staff were very friendly enjoyed it that much im going back next month!! oh and the pool was a lot bigger than expected!!!! good times!

We booked three days before departure with First Choice holidays so we were a bit apprehensive about accommodation. We were not disappointed, the apartment was huge, very clean and had a lovely balcony with great patio furniture overlooking the pool. It had a large lounge, kitchen, two bedrooms, one up a lovely pine staircase, plenty of clothes hangers in wardrobes, plug in mosquito deterants, tea, milk, coffee ready for our arrival and a bottle of water in the fridge.
The only downside was the shower room. It consisted of a shower tray, no curtain and no holder for the shower head so the room was full of water which had to be mopped out everytime but you soon got used to it.
The bar and pool was lovely and clean and the staff were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. There was no entertainment as stated but there was always music or football on the the large screen which was great. We were able to extend the check out time of our room from 12noon to 8pm at a cost of 30euros which was a great relief as we were not being picked up until 0.50am to go to the airport.
Sidari is as always busy and could do with a bit of a clean up as it did look dirty during the daytime but at night you can always find plenty of resturants to enjoy and lots of entertainment come 10 o'clock, tribute acts etc.
The Rock resturant was lovely overlooking the cliffs at the Canal D'Amour.
We hired a jeep for 5 days which cost 30Euros per day which we thought was quite reasonable and we loved visiting Agios Georgious beach which is beautiful, clean and surrounded by great resturants.
All in all a lovely holiday although as everywhere, the price of things has risen.
I would definately recommend the Tondoris Apartments for a great holiday.

loved the whole place.... the apartments were fine for what you need them for - sleeping / getting ready ..... the staff at the accomidation were lovely esp stefan and theo, they just made the holiday
although people warned us about booking trips with the reps there we still did and was glad we did as another couple booked onto corfu town by night with the local shops and didnt get picked up by their coach and had to pay 55euros to get back to sidari with no refund from the shop. and as i have read from other reviews first choice dont use the same coaches as the local shops as the coach we were on were only first choice thomson guests which are all one company now ....
all in all a fantastic holiday definately going back next year

We booked our holiday about 4 weeks before departure and thoroughly researched the accommodation on impartial sites such as this one. We chose Tondoris largely due to the positive comments, and we were not disappointed!
ROOM: Fairly basic but cleaned daily and nice outlook onto pool. Felt safe. Upon arrival we paid 40 euros for A/C for the week - recommended! As for mosquitoes, we had a plug-in appliance (supplied, although we bought our own too) and applied lots anti-mosquito spray in the evening and hardly got bitten. Bottle of water in fridge upon arrival :-)
POOL: Big, exceptionally clean and refreshing. There were always sun loungers available, in fact we had the same 2 all week and this was in peak season (and we didn't get up early to put our towels out either!!).
BAR: Funky! The owner Stefan was very friendly. Food and drink a little pricey, however we mainly ate elsewhere. Background music played all day and evening but not intrusive. Yummy Long Island Iced Tea cocktails!
LOCATION: Great - 5-10 mins walk to the main strip, with several tavernas/restaurants along the way offering quizzes, bingo, karaoke, live entertainment (bands, tribute acts, hypnotists, Greek nights). Generally spent between 25 and 50 euros on an evening meal with wine. Beaches very close. Lots of shops nearby (small supermarket opposite) as well as a surgery
SIDARI: Really liked it. Locals very welcoming. There are a few British style pubs offering a schedule of British TV and typical English food but also a lot of Greek so you don't feel like you're still in Britain! On one side of the strip all the bars and restaurants back onto the beach which makes a lovely setting. There are lots of boat & coach trips you can take (east coast, Corfu Town, Albania...). Car hire available everywhere. Take a taxi to Sunset Beach for 8 euros and see the famous sunset!
Overall, perfect for us, we would certainly return again. We loved our holiday!

Everyone at Tondoris Studio's are absolutely wonderful and extremely friendly. Stefan (the apartment manager) is the loveliest person you could ever want to meet, he made myself and my friends truely welcome.
The apartments are very nice and clean, and the food available is great (especially the tuna salad sandwich, yummy)
I'd definately go back to Tondoris Studio's again and again.

My family and my self go every year and have done for the past 7 years. The accomadation is perfect nice and big, lovely pool view at the front and at the back there's lemon and lime trees, and then at the bottom of the garden there is the canal.The staff are so friendly stephan, kristos, villi and stef will help you in any way they can. Stephan is our son's godfather and he was also our bestman at our blessing.
