Accommodation was absolutely fantastic with a great range of food. Daily room cleaning as well as very friendly staff.
Facilities included pretty much everything you were likely to need (including free milk for young children and free heating service at the bar)
The only thing missing was an iron (although a laundry service was available). If I’d have known, I’d have taken my iron with me - convenience more than anything else when you have 3 young children.
The resort of La Pineda was ideal for us, as we we’re not about to leave 3 children to go clubbing! The hotel provided a variety of evening entertainment for children and adults.
The bus service wasn’t great, but it was adequate. Salou (a Blackpool resort equivalent) was easily accessible from La Pineda as was Porte Aventura - a must for adults and kids alike. Usually there are offers on for entrance tickets.
Overall rating given to this holiday is 8 because the taxi back to the airport never transpired! And neither did the holiday rep during the course of the week!!!
10 out of 10 for the hotel though. Highly recommended
