Visited Sandy Lane hotel by chance in January '04. We stayed there for two nights and in that time decided to get married there two years later.
It is nearly a year since we married there in January '06, and I am itching to get back. The only way I can explain it is 5* in every aspect. The accommodation, from the most basic rooms up to the most luxurious, the food, the hotel itself, and the service are second to none.
The people who stay there are not stuck up nor 'full of themselves' as I have read elsewhere, in fact the people we met there last year were the nuttiest crowd I have ever met!

What more can I say but an excellent luxurious holiday with no problems what-so-ever.
The locals are all friendly and the service exception to none.
However, if I was not made redundant I would not have been to afford but if you have the savings go for it... you will not be disappointed.
