" We have been coming to the Esparragos... "

We have been coming to the Esparragos for 25years now, 21 times in all and have just booked our flights again for next year! I suppose it would be cheaper and nicer to stay in Ibiza and visit England for a holiday? The staff, the girls, the gardeners are all like personal friends and greet you in the warmest of fashions........a nicer place you could not visit. If you are nice people reading this, ring and book, but if you are not, don't bother, because we probably wouldn't want the secret hideaway overrun by the wrong type of people, happy holidaying.

" I’ve been coming out to the pueblo... "

I’ve been coming out to the pueblo for seven years. I can’t fault it.
The staff are warm and friendly they have a good local knowledge of the area

The cacatua bar at the bottom of the complex has sky TV for sports fixtures.
Good food and music I would recommend the chicken wraps.

The bars in the village offer a wide selection of food from tapas to steak and chips
or iv you want something a bit more romantic the casa pedra is a must just at the edge of the village sitting in a deck area watching the sun set whilst eating or just chilling having a relaxing drink

Back in the village the pirates bar is a must Karen and Paul make you feel very welcome

Good music beer or a cocktail or just a chat it’s the place to go.
For the kids there’s the up and inn sky TV nightly entertainment including big alans karaoke or if that’s not enough there’s mr cairos entertainment bar over all cala llonga is a family orientated village 10 out of 10.

" We have had many happy holidays at... "

We have had many happy holidays at The Asparragos, where we have made many friends who also keep returning!

Everyone is very friendly. Welcoming and helpful. I would recommend if for all ages. The complex is built in a traditional style with good on site facilities and has something to suit all tastes.

Cala Llonga is a very friendly and safe resort with a lovely beach (one of the best on the island) and good facilities for everybody.

" Very easy to book by phone or email... "

Very easy to book by phone or email via Pims, the on site office run by 3 English ladies. Apartments are old but comfortable and in wonderful surrounding gardens with amazing views of the bay of Cala Llonga. The Pueblo is built on a hillside, consequently there are a lot of steps, so a car is useful but not essential.

We love the atmosphere in the Pueblo especially when we come in September. All the children have gone and the pools are quiet and peaceful with plenty of sunbeds. We have been coming for the last 10 years and are treated like family by all the staff and owners of the on site bars and the wonderful restaurant, the Wild Asparagus.

The ladies in the Pims office are always ready to help with information, and make it very easy to have a self catering holiday away from the package tours and enforced entertainment.

Cala Llonga is a typical British resort with lots of bars and restaurants serving typical British food! However, The Albatross and the SOS restaurants both serve excellent fresh meat and fish. The nearby town of St Eulalia has more than enough good restaurants to try a different one every day.

" Our first trip to this location will... "

Our first trip to this location will certainly not be the last.

We had 2 weeks chilling out. Katie's Pineapple and Seafood was well worth the trip. The bunch of Grapes is well hosted and Mum's a charmer. The Whole complex was very clean and everyone very pleasant. Local restaurants Casa Piedra and Albatross served excellent food with charming hosts.

All in all a very memorable holiday which I hope to repeat sooner rather than later.

" We stayed at this complex for 2... "

We stayed at this complex for 2 weeks, and felt welcome from the very first day, the girls in reception where great giving you information on any restaurants, beaches, etc.

But I must admit, we hardly left the place, there are 2 lovely pools the Cacatua (lower pool)and the Mariposa(top pool),our children made friends on the very first day, so that was great, we had time to relax ourselves. Jaim'es Fajitas are a must. We also had great nights in the Bunch of Grapes and Wild asparagus restaurant.

Overall I think we will come back to this resort, like many other people we met out there, some have been going for years, and I can understand why. If your Children are having a great time you can have a great time, what else can I say.

" Pueblo Esparragos is a private... "

Pueblo Esparragos is a private complex set in the side of a hill. Each apartment is individually owned so all are different.

It has on site 2 pools with bars a 'pub' The Bunch of Grapes for the evening and the Wild Esparragos restaurant as well. 10 to 15 minutes walk to the beach and village . There are loads of steps on the complex as its on a hill but for most its not a problem. The beach is a blue flag and very safe for children with a playground at the back of the beach.

Just off the beach is a fabulous restaurant the SOS highly recommended.
As no tour operators go to the pueblo you can book direct with PIMS Holidays on site for a very reasonable sum.

Just add on the flights and car hire or a taxi from the airport and you have an excellent holiday for a family with lots of room and none of those supplements you get charged elsewhere.
