Steep Prices... not good for what you are paying
from ramagana
I was there for 2 nights, the hotel is ok but you are better off going to the best western at the end of the street for 125 Euros less than the 320 Euros that this old hotel offers. Our Room was ok but the bathroom was falling down, fixtures where falling off, the king bed was two beds together with no lock for the two beds so these moved freely. To top it off, the nuckle head receptionist charged me twice for the stay, and locked more funds of my credit card, that was 2 weeks ago and still the funds are locked. I dont know what they...

Beautiful settings
from Kelobie
This is a beautiful hotel in a nice neighbourhood in Paris, off the Avenue Victor Hugo within walking distance to the Arc and Champ Elysees and Trocedero. The hotel has a beautiful garden and ground giving a very peaceful setting The room is small but very comfortable, but don't forget you are in Paris. Nice room amentities such as complimentary Evian water and Wi-Fi. Lovely bed. Would stay here again but notice that it's very difficult to secure bookings for stay of more than 2 nights if you are looking for reasonable rates (this is...

Wonderful hotel by Paris standards
from artemisworks
I stayed at this hotel twice when I had to travel to Paris for work purposes and both times, the rooms were excellent, especially by Paris standards when you don't expect much. Rooms were spacious and tastefully decorated. The hotel was situated in a quiet area, but still very well located and only a short stroll away from the Trocadero. Breakfast was also excellent. All in all, it was a pleasure.
Loved the location
from vin2998
The hotel for me was average. I loved the locaton. it was quiet and in more of a residental area which was wonderful. restaurants in walking distance. Such as ozio ( italian restaurant which was good) there are many places to eat you can't go hungry. Actually, I recommend the restaurant called la villa corse....excellent food. They have a website and 2 locations. Look in zagat. Just some information you should know 1. There is no shower curtain in the bathroom 2. Bring your own travel charger if your from the united states...

Now a Marriott from 1st of August 2007
from fly4fun2
When walking up the street and entering this hotel, we couldn't see any Sofitel signs, just Le Park. While waiting in the queue to check in we had to double check that we had the right nunber. The staff member told us that Marriot had taken over the hotel from 1st of August. No Marriot branding as yet and some Sofitel signage still around. TRANSPORT. From the metro Victor Hugo, use Exit 1, not Exit 2 even though this is the same street, it is the other side of the roundabout which will result in several roads needing to be crossed. We...

A haven in Paris
from HammyBlackburn
Superb room overlooking the street with a view of the Eiffel Tower. A haven within a bustling city. Very clean, with staff all helpful to two travellers who can't speak French! Buffet breakfast great - we had b&b included - lots of fresh fruit, eggs etc to order, cereals, delicious pastries and regular coffee top ups. Location with Metro brilliant and easy walking to L'arc de Triomphe, Champs Elysee, and Eiffel Tower. Would highly recommend.
very good for the price
from luxuryhoteljunkie
Have been to Paris too many times for me to keep track of, going several times a year, and have stayed at a variety of hotels, including the Park Hyatt, Crillon, Lotti, Intercontinental (now the Westin), Montalembert, Lutetia, Hyatt Regency, Sofitel La Faubourg, Costes, Tremoille, etc. Basically, Paris is extremely expensive due to the embarrassing state of the US dollar (thank you, Bush). You get what you pay for. If money were no object, then I would stay at the Park Hyatt or Crillon always. But money is an object, especially with the...

Le Parc - Great Neighborhood and Value
from Buffalos13
Stayed at Le Parc for a week in June 2007 in a King Junior Suite. Very nice location in good neighborhood with lots of Restaurants and also within walking distance to Eiffel Tower. Close to 2 Metro lines, Trocadero and Victor Hugo. Room was spacious and nice and a good value for the money as it is not as expensive as the "Palace" hotels in Paris but you get a great room for the money. Nice courtyard for lounging when you need a break.
Just Love this Hotel
from STEVEFR
I just love this hotel. It is my second visit. The area around Victor Hugo is perfect. There is good access to Metro and a short walk to the River by the Eiffel Tower. It is a posh area so the hotel price reflects that. The reception staff were friendly and helpful. I have stayed in 2 types of room here. An executive suite and standard room. The beds whilst not huge are just wonderful. The suite had Bedroom and bathroom upstairs on a mezzanine level and lounge downstairs. Flat screen TV’s. Large windows overlooking the courtyard....

good but no lift
from smjsmj
We just returned from a 5 night stay. The bed was great. The room was nice and clean and had air conditioning which was needed. The bathroom was very small. It was not a problem for us but there was no elevator in the building where we stayed. The hotel is well located and and staff was very nice.
