La Bourdonnais Hotel

Stayed with our 2 kids 6,10 and we all fit comfortably in a two double bedded room. They are renovating and there was a lot of banging in the mornings. However, we benefitted from the new bathroom and nice quiet thick windows. Staff was indifferent. Lots of shops nearby and supermarkets next door and one minute away for great croissants and yogurt. Bank machine next door and Metro station Ecole Militaire 1/2 block away. We even took the RER train from the airport and walked 10 minutes from the Pont D'Alma station.

It was a great place to stay in for just a day or two - it's very close to the Eifffel Tower, a park, and many museums. The 7th Arr. is a very nice area of Paris and we were very happy with the hotel.

our first time in paris, booked the hotel from pictures we saw on the net, not at all like it. the room was old with old bedding and very old light fixtures. very small room. we were very disapointed with the hotel. good thing close to eifel tower and ecole militaire.

It was great to stay in a " large room and large bathroom".....yes!!! Big rooms!!!! I was so tired of staying in tiny boxes at Ille Saint Louis ...the hotels there had such tiny rooms... then a friend of mine told me to check out La Bourdonnais = for size you can't beat La Bourdonnais...great price, also....it was a great relief....very nice!!! I will always return to "La Bourdonnais" no more boxes!!! A real room, instead! and next to the metro!!! Go for it!! joe demello miami.

Our family of four stayed here in July of 2004 for five nights. We stayed in two suites. One facing the street had a nicer bathroom than the one facing the couryard, but both were nice. Second living room with pullout couch is very small. Great location near the Eiffel tower. Upscale quiet neighborhood. Nice restaurants and shops. Close to metro. We would stay here again.

We stayed here for New Years. Amazing location, we could see the top of the tower (which is afterall only a five minute walk away) from our room and loved sticking our heads out on the hour to watch it twinkle! The Ecole militaire metro is about 2 minutes walk, so handy if you are carrying luggage. We weren't particularly bothered by having a great room as wasnt planning on spending much time there, but the room was absolutely fine. We booked our triple room at Hotel La Bourdonnais through Expedia and were very pleased with our experience. Although we arrived at the hotel well before the noon check-in time (an early flight!), the staff apologized to us for not having our room ready! They then offered the three of us complimentary breakfasts while we waited -- such a relief after a long flight. Very generous. Good location, bed comfortable, staff rude, breakfast poor, room sparse, noisey.

Just returned from a family trip to Paris and London. Every time we did an online search for a hotel that would suit our family (2 adults, a teen and a child ), the Hotel La Bourdonnais would be on the list. We stayed for four days and nights. The breakfast was wonderful, our room was a little worn but the bathroom was exceptional. We had a view of the Eiffel tower and walked down to it every night. There was a great grocery store next door and loved all the great restuarants close by. The staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. We would love to stay there again. June 1-4, 2004.
