We have been visiting Vilanova Park frequently for over 4 years, staying in a bungalow. It is an attractive, spacious holiday Park, set in beautiful grounds, with terrific views over Vilanova town to the sea.
The facilities are excellent and well kept, and we particularly enjoy the tennis courts and table tennis tables, the health club with its indoor pool and gym, the outdoor pools, and the free aerobics and keep fit classes which are run all year round.
The Park has a pleasant restaurant and good food, with a takeaway service. The camp shop is well stocked with a wide range of everyday fresh food and drink items. We particularly enjoy their freshly made bread. The boutique has lots of beachwear and gear, a free book exchange, and stocks English newspapers.
Buses run from outside the Park entrance direct to Vilanova, an attractive, friendly, Spanish working town with a wide expanse of beach, a long promenade and extensive marina. There is relatively easy access by bus and train to surrounding towns, Barcelona and Barcelona airport.
The camp is well managed and we find the staff friendly and helpful. We feel safe with the controlled entrance to the park and the internal security patrols.

We have been visiting Vilanova Park several times a year for the past 5 years. We always have a wonderful time and look forward to our next visit.
The Park is wonderfully maintained by a very friendly and helpful staff. The receptionists all speak great English and will do whatever they can to help you have a wonderful stay.
The Park is very clean and safe. The facilities are fantastic and there is always plenty to do if you remain on the Park. Everything you need is there.
If you want to travel to Barcelona or further afield the bus and train services are very cheap and close.

This is an excellent site which caters for all ages and all tastes. There is a wide range of mobile home and chalet accomadation, provided by the site and tour operators. There are also plenty of pitches for caravans and tents, with excellent toilet and shower facilities. There are two excellent outdoor pools and areas for football, basketball etc. There is a restaurant, supermarket, takeaway and bar, and an excellent entertainment programme. The site is maintained to a very high standard, with helpful and friendly staff. There is a bus stop at the camp gates where buses run to Vilanova and Barcelona. From Vilanova there are excellent train links to Sitges,Barcelona and Tarragona. The area is well served by the low cost airlines Easyjet and Ryanair.

Just back from Vilanova Park, beautiful place. Booked with Williams Holidays but next year plan to book direct through the park. Stayed in the park owned chalets;double bedroom, twin room with bunk beds (surprise bed under bottom bunk!) and a double sofa bed. We went from the 17th - 24th August.
Had 3 days of thunder and lightning but didn't let that ruin our holiday. As we were in the parks own accommodation we were in the middle of all the action and had 2 beautiful pools only 2 mins walk on either side of us. Indoor pool and gym also available which we used for the kids on the wet days (€3.50 weekdays / €5.00 weekends Don't forget swimming caps just for indoor pool!).
Great transport routes. Failure of our transport taxi to pick us up from the airport meant we had to be resourceful and took the "Monbus" straight to Vilanova town (only around €5 per person) and then a taxi to the park (€10). Took the Monbus back to the airport on our return journey for a fraction of the price that the taxis cost. There is a bus that runs from the park gates about every 20 mins (costs €1 per person one way). L2 takes you to the town and can drop you at the beach, which I might add is beautiful, plenty of loungers for hire and also shaded areas available for hire (approx €5.00 all day), cafe bar and water sports also available. The bus also drops right outside the train station which can take you to Barcelona (approx €5 per person return) or Port Aventura approx (approx €6 per person return). The L1 bus which you can catch from numerous stops in town takes you directly back to the park. Definitely a family park.
There was 13 in our party, including teenagers, young children and even a baby. Night time entertainment was very good, very spanish. Lots of other young people in the park so plenty of new friends made. The supermarket in the park is excellent offering great value on all products. The park organises buses to different locations (you have to book at reception at least the day before). We used this service for the Auqaleon Water Park. Quite a long journey and a very long day. Bus leaves the park at 9.15am and doesn't leave the water park until 6.00pm. Great water slides. No armbands allowed on children or t-shirts (which was a bit of a problem for some of our kids as we did not want them getting burnt!). Also be aware that the lifeguards really adore their whistles and take every opportunity to have a blow.
Vilanova Park is a great family place and I would highly recommend it. PS Bring ant spray, no problem with mosquitoes.

We found the park to be lovely, very relaxing even though it is huge. The pool was beautifully clean and kept that way by being manned at all times. We stayed with Haven Europe and their reps could not have been nicer, we arrived to find wine ready for us to relax as well as a few essentials such as milk and teabags to make our first night as comfortable as possible.
The accommodation was basic but fine, the only problem was the cost of hiring linen for the beds and this was needed because the beds had plastic covers which could make you sweat if not covered.

We had the most distressing end to our holiday ever. We were in a large group with a number of adults and children. The food in the restuarant was terrible. One of the children cut into a piece of chicken only to see blood dripping out of it. When we raised a complaint, and we was advised that there was nothing wrong with eating bloody chicken... we left the restaurant unable to finish the our meals advising that we would like to be contacted by the manager, having not being presented with a bill. The child that ate some of the chicken was very ill the following day. The following day we asked to speak to the manager about the incident at the main reception and he was highly abusive and agressive towards females and children in the group (mocking us and all). He then tried to hold our lugauage as ransom for payment for a meal that gave a child food poisening. During the conformtational situation a security gaurd in the reception injured one of our children, and we had to call an ambulance to see to her...during this time the manager stood there laughing and refused to provide a seat for the child. He also physically attacked a member of the party when she tried to call the police as he had cancelled the coach we had paid for through them to take us back to the airport because he wanted us to miss our flight, but refused to refund our money. We eventually got hold of the police and our coach and was glad to get out. The manager and staff (all but one lady who tried to help us but was ordered off the front desk by the manager) should not be allowed to operate in such a manner. The entire group suffered severe distress, because the manager and the staff who are all very much afraid of him refused to accept liability for serving uncooked chicken. There is a serious health and safety issue that needs to be addressed at this site from the food to the conduct of security and the manager.
If you want a safe and happy holiday, with staff who unerstand customer sevice and general courtesy then DO NOT come to this place. Me and the 20 odd other people I was on holiday with certainly will not be returning. I must also add that even the euro camp representatives appeared to be afraid to ask the manager to control himself. They were very unhelpful, and allowed the situation to escalate. iI will be stay clear of Eurocamp too.
