Reasonable facilities but rather expensive. Could have stayed in a good hotel for less.
Great location close to beach and not too far from other attractions such as Pals and the Medes Islands, both definitely worth a visit.
Range and quality of food in on-site supermarket is very good, which is just as well since choice of food in restaurants is limited.
Enthusiastic and friendly entertainment staff keep children amused at kids club and provide lively evening entertainment. Otherwise fairly poor customer service - reception staff are totally disinterested in problems reported to them (e.g. no bedding in caravan).
Nice big pool but no sunloungers (do people steal them?).
All in all, a mixture of good and bad experiences. Don't regret going but wouldn't go back.

Excellent site with great facilities, very clean including pool. Only gripe was paying for wireless broadband which didn't work and when I complained management had no interest. Minor gripe as one sullen staff shouldn't spoil an otherwise excellent holiday - highly recommended. Great on site food market which gives equal value for money compared to outside.

El Delfin Verde - very good site with friendly staff. More suitable for families with younger children (i.e. under 11). Site located with direct access to a large beach. The site is well maintained and very clean.
Various on site facilities all as detailed on the El Delfin Verde web page.
If you intend to explore the surrounding area and towns car hire is required this can be arranged direct with the site reception. Site offers various excursions i.e. to water parks, Barcelona etc.
We spent 10 days at this site and would look to return at some point in the future. Haven / Siblu staff very friendly and helpful.
If flying to Gerona airport it takes approx 45 minutes to get to the site by either hire car or taxi. Taxi costs approx 60 - 100 euro depending on company and time of day.

Just returned from a very pleasant 10 days in El Delfin Verde. We had the 6pa mobile home- this was 'delightfully compact' in estate agents parlance........but it suited our group of four adults and two teenagers fine. The accomodation was clean and everythng worked-air conditioning is included and is an ABSOLUTE must....38 degrees C yesterday (26-06-08).
The swiming pool and other leisure facilities are excellent and well maintained. The on-site supermarket is clean, well-stocked and just marginally more expensive than others in the locality....but still a fraction of the cost of similar items in Ireland-a 4.5 litre bottle of Jameson whiskey cost €64.95....same quantity in Tesco. Ireland...€189.00.
There are a number of catering options on site including take-away pizzas, hot-dogs,burgers etc. The main restaurant Nautilus, seves decent portions at a reasonable cost..the mixed grilled meats platter and the mixed grilled fish platter are worth trying.I love meat and the half portion @€10.50 was more than adequate (my better half had the half portion of fish at the same price), add on the grilled vegetable selection @€7.50 between you and a bottle of house wine at €10.50...heaven.
Please visit Pals, it is a medival city a couple of kms. away...but it is so pretty.
