From the start this was an extremely disappointing holiday, far below the standard of other Siblu parks we have stayed at. The reception was inefficient, we had to wait nearly an hour for our keys. On arrival at the caravan it was perfectly pleasant inside but overlooked on all sides with only enough outdoor space to squeeze on the car and table and chairs. The outdoor areas were not divided with any shrubs at all.
In the evening the entertainment was loud and typical of a British holiday resort - drinking contests and amateur singing. The kids always enjoy seeing Rory the tiger though.
Our main problem was the volume of noise from the camp adjacent to Carabasse - the noise was so loud that it made the furniture literally shake, it could still be heard with your fingers in your ears. I enjoy loud music and have been to many festivals where I have had a more peaceful nights sleep. The noise eventually ceased at about 1.00 am. My children could not get to sleep through this and were in tears - this was every night.
Our caravan, as mentioned, seemed ok but we found many items of the inventory missing and the shower rarely worked.
We complained (very politely) to reception who were extremely unhelpful and suggested we should go to the Jura. There was another family there at the time also complaining (mainly about the night noise) and asking to be moved to another camp (the poor woman was in tears). Haven were also extremely unhelpful both on site and on our return. The man who was also complaining resorted to 'phoning the office in UK who were of little assistance.
The food available was decidedly poor - ok if you like fries with everything!
There was a shop on site which was excellent - one redeeming feature. The local town also had an excellent market and we did visit some lovely towns and rural areas.
The pool was pleasant but not as good as at other sites I have visited and, yet again, loud music seemed to be popular here too - no peace at all.
The children’s' play areas were also very sparse.
The club was not as good as other sites with an unimaginative programme and no freebies!
Do not recommend if you are looking for a peaceful break. I do suggest ST Jean de Mont (Le Bois Dormant - not Masson) for a quiet break, Les Etang Fleuris (for Disney) and La Baume (for a fab park, great pools, bars and atmosphere without the racket).

From the moment you enter La Carabasse you feel your holiday has started, the entrance although busy especially on a Saturday has a large car park, so you can park up whilst booking in. The reception staff are friendly and welcoming.
Once on the park, it is very easy to find your way around, the map you are given is detailed, but also every road has a specific name, so for the children once they know the caravan number and which road you are in, they can roam around finding the swimming pool, play areas and restaurants for you, whilst you unpack.
My daughters loved the kids clubs, one was in Tiger Club and the other (aged 13) loved T-Co. My eldest daughter found this was a fantastic way of making friends within a day, the staff were excellent and encouraged everyone to join in, never leaving a child out. The staff played games with the children and seemed to love being there as well. I never encountered an unhappy member of staff. On one occasion my daughter needed medical care whilst at the club, the co-ordinator took her in a golf buggy to see the Life Guards at the pool, where she was given the all clear. I was very grateful to everyone.
The entertainment was also good, the children had party dances every night whilst the adults sat around the bar area talking and waiting the evenings entertainment.
The one disappointing thing was, there was never an adult party dance, many of us were itching to get up and boogie ( and make our children die of embarrassment).
The temperatures did reach the late 80's, but we also had a few welcome days of cloud.
I would recommend this holiday park to families and give the park an overall 10/10.

This site was excellent, we have stayed on loads of English caravan parks but this was our first time self-catering in another country and we were very pleasantly surprised. We drove from Calais and that was not as bad as I expected although it took over 9 hours with only a couple of short breaks.
Our caravan was huge we have 7 year old twin boys and a 13 year old girl so we had asked for a 3 bed roomed caravan and the one we got was like a house it had separate shower and wc a small kitchen a large living space with seats that convert to beds and a dining table and chairs. It was very clean and all the carpets and upholstery was in mint condition. We had a large space with garden furniture and a BBQ.
The site was quite busy but it was still very clean and well looked after. The pools are big and have a 4 lane waterslide. The boys loved the kids club but our daughter thought it was too childish for her. The supermarket on site was better than most of the camp shops we've seen in the UK but it was still cheaper to go to town and get a weeks shopping.
The takeaway had nice food and was reasonable but the pizzeria was very disappointing the pizzas were really thin and crunchy like a biscuit. The bar was friendly and good for kids.
The staff were friendly and very helpful although we didn't see much of Rory the tiger apart from the shows in the evening.
The nearby town Cap d Adje is nice although not the cheapest for shopping. The beach is a short walk and is lovely. We spent most of our time on the site or the beach so we didn't see as much of the local area as we would have liked but there was loads of stuff to do. We wanted to hire bikes but thought our boys were a bit young to go out on the roads.
I would recommend this park but I would say that if you have hay fever then the end of May might not be a good time to go and I think it will be very hot later in the year.
I will certainly be going on a haven holiday again next year I thinking of Brittany to cut down on the driving.
Ok that’s all from me have a nice trip wherever you decide to go.

A generally well kept site suitable for family holidays. A bit too quiet for teenagers but great for the very young.
The area is fantastic for touring and the beaches are good. The pool is big but very cold.
The entertainment is ok for the very young but they overdo this at the expense of adults.
Drinks are quite expensive especially the Beer! Food prices are OK
Security can be a problem do not leave windows open and finally, watch out for dog poo.
