we went to this site in sept 09 on one of the "sun" newspaper holidays,we found it to be very pleasant and great for the kids, loads of little play parks all around the site and a bouncy castle near the main entrance...the kids swimming pool was fantastic and kept the kids amused for hours while we had time to relax in the sun and not have to be in the water with them.the caravan was lovely to and when we arrived we found a bottle of wine and some sweets for the kids a very nice touch indeed.
we liked this place so much that we are going back in june 2011 for two weeks this time.
hopefully this time the clubs will be up and running so the kids can experience these.
WELL WORTH A VISIT
THOROUGHLY RECOMMEND

Beware of the Waterslide
9 / 10
Jul 2010, S

My family and I have just returned from Lac Du Reves in Lattes/Perols near Montpellier in France. It was a great location and the camp site was wonderful, clean and peaceful. Our rented mobil home in the Elegance Class was just what we needed and we had a truly fantastic time visiting Palavas Les Flots almost every day.
But, beware of the waterslides! The site has a yellow waterslide by the pool with 4 lanes. On our first day, my five year old son and I spend a few hours on the slide. It wasn't all that "slidey" though. Later the same day we noticed that our backs had been badly scuffed and scraped by using the slide although we had noticed at the time. My son's back was painfull for the remainder of the 11 night holiday and a scabbed formed.
Siblu later offered the use of mats, but I'm afraid they arrived too late to help him and were too few in quantity. Unfortunately we told him he couldn't play on the slides for the rest of the holday which is a great shame as this was one of the things he likes to do most.
We noticed in fact that most of the people using the yellow slide also had scratches, scuffs and cuts and we found out that other families had told their kids to stay off the slide.
This is a shame as in absolutely all other aspects the park was lovely and suited us right down to the ground. But regretable we won't be able to return to this park again.
Note: there is no railway anywhere near this park so the reviewer commenting on this point is clearly mistaken.

Had a great time

We are a family of two adults and two children who have just returned from Le Lac Des Reves and had a great time. Although we were at the campsite in peak season i.e. August, we found it to be fairly quiet and never encountered any rowdy behaviour. All the facilities were well looked after and we found the pool area to be particularly good, with attentive lifeguards, who kept the area spotless and ensured that everyone was behaving properly.

Excellent Holiday. Clean park and excellent accomodation. A bottle of wine was waiting on our arrival and sweets for the children. Lovely swimmimg pool and great reps. Will definitely go to another Siblu site next year. Car hire is essential as there are lots of places to visit and many beaches.

I was there for three weeks till july 6th 2008, there was two families together. We loved it, our accomodation was excellent, the Pirates Club was brilliant, those leaders, Daniel, Celine, Sarah, Kevin,Marjorie and david were fantastic people, between entertaining the kids thru out the day to the shows at night, its a holiday that you must go and take part in!!!!!! We really enjoyed the area and everything else about it. The only small fault I found being irish that the selection of beer in the pub was limited!!! Otherwise I would highly recommend the area for a holiday and I look forward to doing something similiar next year. Keep up the great work.

Had an awesome time plenty to do. Entertainment was very good, the reps all knew what they were doing and must of been one of the biggest assets to the par, the shows where all excellent.
Nothing I could fault. Caravan was very good.

Dirty rubbish overflowing all over...
1 / 10
Jul 2007, Mrs J Waddington

Dirty rubbish overflowing all over and dogs and cats wandering about.
We cut the holiday short and came home 5 days sooner because it was that bad. Most of the caravans are holidays for the French and there teenage children use them with there friends. This ended up with drunken teenagers about with no parental control.
First impression on arrival was graffiti all over the walls and cars stacked up on bricks. Reps spend most of there time getting drunk. Caravans did not have all the essentials knives, forks, no electric a gas when we got there had to wait till the next afternoon before we got that. We even had to buy a new shower head because the other one was broken.
The caraven was dirty and smelly, broken bottles in the swimming pool, one holiday maker got bit by one the dogs that were wandering about, no security anywhere!

Aug 2006, Mrs L Coles

What a beautiful park! The lake was just perfect, me and my husband would often sit with our glass of red wine, and plate of cheeses at the end of the day and just relax. We needed to, there is so much going on in the day time to keep us entertained.
Our granddaughter went to the tiger club, and showed us all her new dance moves! She made some lovely friends and has even started writing to one of them...although; I wonder how long that will last! Probably until the end of the school holidays!
Katie dragged us out every night...but we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The entertainment was great, we were all encouraged to get involved...and it worked!
I would like to thank all of the staff who made our holiday a very memorable one.

This was the third Haven Europe site...
6 / 10
May 2006, Mrs V Newby

This was the third Haven Europe site we have visited and to be honest we were really disappointed in comparison to La Reserve and La Pignade. On arrival the park was obviously very large and it was the very start of the season and were very disorganised. Our mobile home was an elegance but was very shabby and old.
There were several problems such as garden furniture missing which eventually got put right, kids clubs took days to start and then regularly closed. They were continuing to carry out extensive repairs around the site including the shop which meant it was closed on at least one day or more. The site also boasts its lakeside location, however, this is a protected nature reserve and has a big fence all the way round so you can't actually get to the lakeside.
The pool area was good, however, the waterslides never operated whilst we were there and the spa bath was out of order for the duration. The site has a pleasant location and it is only a few minutes drive to supermarkets, beaches and Montpelier itself. The site is shabby and the facilities were not adequate for the size of the site. We were there off peak and I would imagine it is unpleasant in high season.
The shop when open was very small and extortionate. The restaurant was good and reasonably priced. All in all, although it hasn't put me off Haven, I would not rebook at this site unless they spent money on making it as good as some of their other sites.
